On January 5, at a video conference held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, it was reported that 2.4 million square meters of houses will be commissioned under the housing construction programme in Tatarstan in 2015.

The year of 2014 is coming to an end. We traditionally summarize the results of the year and share our plans for the future. The New Year holiday is the time of kind hopes and joyful expectations.  The difficulties and challenges our country had to face in the outgoing year have united and consolidated us. Now we have more self-confidence  and  unbending spirit. 

On December 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov inspected the construction of Innopolis innovative satellite-town near Kazan. The first inspected facility was Popov Technopark, where Minnikhanov and accompanying persons looked around the ground and first floors, and other units. Rustam Minnikhanov was reported that Ak Bars Bank and Post of Russia became the park’s first tenants.

On December 29, in his telegram addressed to Board Chairman of OAO “Gasprom” Aleksey Miller, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his gratitude to him for support rendered to volleyball club “Zenit-Kazan” by Gasprom company and for contribution to sports glory of Tatarstan and Russia:

“Dear Aleksey Borisovich! On behalf of sports fans and personally I congratulate you on the victory of volleyball club “Zenit-Kazan” in Russia Cup 2014. Thanks to the work of sportsmen and coaching staff in well-coordinated and highly professional way aimed at further impressive results, Kazan volleyball players won 15th Cup in 15th anniversary season. On December 29, in his telegram addressed to President of RT Volleyball Federation Farid Mukhametshin, President of the volleyball club "Zenit-Kazan" Rafkat Kantukov, Head coach of Zenit-Kazan Vladimir Alekno and sportsmen of volleyball club “Zenit-Kazan”, on behalf of all volleyball fans and personally, Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated them on victory in Russia Cup 2014. Having emphasized that Zenit-Kazan ended 15th anniversary season with triumph, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked them for their victory, strengthening authority of Russian volleyball school, and contribution to sports glory of Tatarstan and wished them strong health, inexhaustible energy, good luck, and new greater achievements.
