On August 2, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov with the participation of all municipal regions, Tatarstan Prime Minister – Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov reported that as of August 2, 280,000 hectares or 17 per cent of arable areas have been thrashed in Tatarstan.
On August 2, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Services Irek Faizullin said that1 million 424.1 thousand square meters of housing were commissioned in Tatarstan as of August 1, 2014. 60 houses were built under social mortgage programme.
On August 2, at a regional meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Utilities Services Irek Faizullin said that a three-month campaign on providing safe labour conditions and labour protection at construction sites is held in Tatarstan on July 1-September 30.

On July 31, at an awarding ceremony at the Kremlin (Moscow), Russian President Vladimir Putin awarded the Order for Services to the Fatherland, IV degree to Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev. The Presidential order to award Mintimer Shaimiev was signed on January 14, 2014.

On July 29, at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, it was reported that this year more than 80 children from of Ukrainian refugee families will be provided with school kits within the framework of the regional charity campaign "Help Get Ready for School." By and large, more than 6,000 children are in need of such support in the republic in the coming school year.
On July 29, making a report on measures to support small and medium sized businesses in Tatarstan in 2014 at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov said that in 2014, a total of 555 million roubles would be financed from the federal and regional budgets under the Leasing Grant programme in Tatarstan.

On July 28, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, took part in a traditional festive prayer on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, the day of breaking fast as the Islamic holy month of Ramadan ends. The festive prayer was held by Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil Hazrat Samigullin at the Kul-Sharif Mosque.
