On September 2 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin presented awards to First Vice-Premier of Russia Igor Shuvalov at Kazan City Hall.
On September 2 Tatarstan State Counsellor,Chairman of the Board of Guardians of the Regional Foundation “Revival” Mintimer Shaimiev met with ICOMOS experts Ms Britta Rudolf and Mr Willem Willems, UNESCO Deputy Director General on culture Mr Francesko Bandarin and Special Advisor to UNESCO Director General Mr Munir Bushenaki.
On September 2 Tatarstan State Counsellor, Chairman of the Board of Guardians of the Regional Foundation “Revival” Mintimer Shaimiev took part in presentation of the Russian edition of Francesco Bandarin and Ron Van Oers’s book “The historic urban landscape. Managing Heritage in an urban Century” at the Hermitage-Kazan center.
On September 2 at his meeting with journalists Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that all repaired schools opened in the republic.
On September 2 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov, and Board Chairman of OAO Ak Bars Bank Valery Sorokin took part in opening of new school No.35.
On September 2 at his meeting with ICOMOS and UNESCO experts Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the main purpose today is to preserve the ancient town of Bolgar and island town of Sviyazhsk.

On August 31 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, heads of ministries, departments, and municipal regions took part in celebrations dated to 70 years of Tatarstan oil and 60 years of Almetievsk city.
