Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has reviewed the presentation of Swarco AG company in Innsbruck in the context of his working visit to Austria. The project of intelligence transport system for Kazan was presented to the Head of Republic. The intelligence traffic control system is to be implemented in Kazan during Universiade-2013. Swarco AG is going to demonstrate the first cluster in February 2012.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has arrived in Austria with a working visit. Director-general of JSC “Svyazinvestneftehim” Valery Sorokin, Head of Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Director of Department for external relations- Aide to RT President on international issues Iskander Muflikhanov, Director-general of OOO “Vasilievsky glass factory” Oleg Antonov are on the Tatarstan official delegation.

Election campaign of deputies to RF State Duma of Federal Assembly of VI convocation was characterized by high activity of all participants. Such statement was made today by Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin on a press conference on issues of election results.

A press conference on results of election campaign of deputies to RF State Duma of Federal Assembly of VI convocation will be held in RT Government House on December 5.

On December 4 State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in elections of State Duma deputies of the 6th convocation. He came to the voting precinct №56 located in Kazan military school with his wife Sakina hanum.

“We hope to form a strong deputy corps in RF State Duma”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stated after voting on the precinct №41 (Kazan, Karl Marx, 10).

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of Apanaev mosque in Kazan after restoration works. Apanaev mosque is an early stone Muslim building and an architectural monument of federal significance located in Staro-Tatarskaya sloboda (Kazan, Tatarstan). Construction of the mosque started in 1768 for the funds of a merchant Yakub bin Sultangaly on the basis of personal written statement of the Empress Catherine II. It was named after Apanaev merchants who lived in mahal and maintained the mosque.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Kazan synagogue (Profsoyusnaya str,15) on December 2. Chief rabbi of Tatarstan Itskhak Goredik told about the history of synagogue and Jewish religious community. Rustam Minnikhanov and his party looked over the history museum of Kazan Jewish community and hall of worship.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov highlighted the importance of social mortgage program on housing construction for Republic. At a weekly video conference meeting Head of Tatarstan expressed gratitude to republican enterprises for formation of the program budget.
