President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed the Turkish delegation at the international airport “Kazan” on Wednesday evening.
(Kazan, March 17, Tatar-Inform). Prime Minister of the Turkish Republic Recep Tayyip Erdogan arrived in Kazan on Wednesday as part of his working trip to the Russian Federation. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed him at the international airport of Tatarstan’s capital.Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Vice-Chairman of RT State Council Rimma Ratnikova also greeted the Turkish delegation, RT President’s press-service informs.

March, 16. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in work of international scientific-practical conference «Russia and world: in quest of innovation strategy» within the limits of Gaidarov Forum – 2011. Forum is held in Moscow (Russian academy of national economy and government service under RF President) on March, 16-19.Speaking to participants of the conference Rustam Minnikhanov told about major “growing points” of Tatarstan economy that may help to bring gross regional product to 65 bln. US dollars by 2015.

Signing agreement between Tatarstan and Chuvash Republic about friendship and cooperation may give new impetus to development of partnership relations between two neighboring regions of Russian Federation. This was announced by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov in Kazan Kremlin while summing up results of working trip of President of Chuvash Republic Mikhail Ignatiev to Tatarstan.

RT Vice-premier, Minister of culture Zilya Valeeva suggested journalists telling more about people and companies that undertook restoration of historical monuments. She announced this at a briefing in RT Cabinet dedicated to conservation and use of objects of cultural heritage in Tatarstan. Traditionally the briefing was held in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions and was broadcasted in Internet.

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and President of the Chuvash Republic Mikhail Ignatyev visited OOO “Maiskiy” Greenhouse complex on Tuesday.The area of winter greenhouses totals 49 hectares which are divided into 9 production workshops. Production of fresh vegetables – cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, eggplants has increased from 14.7 thousand tons in 2000 to 24.5 thousand tons in 2010.

March, 14. President of Tatarstan Republic is in Tomsk with working visit. He took part in meeting on improving tools of innovative development in regions. The meeting was held by Chairman of RF Government Vladimir Putin. According to Head of Russian government it is obvious that successful modernization of economy, development of business aimed at efficient use of intellect and knowledge largely determine projects in Russian regions.

Consulting and audit services of “PricewaterhouseCoopers” company may be interesting and useful for large enterprises, small and medium business. This was announced by RT PM Ildar Khalikov at the meeting with representatives of PwC. The event took place in House of RT Government with participation of Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Director of autonomous noncommercial organization “Directorate of Universiade-2013” Vladimir Leonov, Aide to RT PM on foreign economic activity Alfred Zakirov, Head of Department for economy, finance and disposal of state property under RT Cabinet office Albert Nafigin.

Oil production will be the main stream for Tatarstan in the near future. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stated it at the meeting with journalists of foreign mass media at the RT Cabinet of Minister on Sunday, March 13.The Tatarstan President offered foreign journalists (representatives of Deutchland Radio, East news photo agency, China’s Central television, Xinhua news agency, the international radio of China) to try some Tatar national dishes and made the presentation of the Tatarstan potential.

March, 12. IT - projects of Tatarstan Republic were presented to Mayor of Moscow Sergei Sobyanin. Mayor of Moscow got acquainted with republican innovations while visiting technopark in the sphere if high technologies “IT-park”. Sergei Sobyanin was accompanied by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. RT Vice-premier – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov presented the project of rendering state services to citizens in electronic format. Also Mayor of Moscow became acquainted with first results of pilot project “Electronic health care” that is being implemented in Nizhnekamsk municipal region.
