Yesterday, on the 6th of July, late in the evening, Minnikhanov reported to Russian President Vladimir Putin during a telephone conversation on the current situation in the region in connection with floods and the damage caused by them.

On July 4, a number of projects were approved at a session of interdepartmental commission on town planning activity in historical settlements at Tatarstan Government House. The projects were presented by chief architect of Kazan Tatyana Prokofieva.
