On May 22, upon completion of the board session of the Association of innovative regions of Russia in Tomsk,Acting President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov met Governor of Tomsk Region Sergey Zhvachkin to discuss collaboration between the two regions in scientific-technical and industrial fields.

On May 21, speaking at the opening of the All-Russian Forum in procurement for state and municipal needs held in Kazan, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, said that Tatarstan pays special attention to the public procurement, with more than 280,000 contracts and agreements for a total amount of 86.1 million roubles concluded in 2014, which is among the highest indictors in the Volga Federal District.
On May 21, within the framework of his working visit to Ufa, Acting President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov participated in the opening ceremony of the 5th International Chemical Forum “Bolshaya Khimiya” to be aimed at discussing strategy of chemical industry development under new economic and political conditions.
On May 21, Acting President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit to Ufa to take part in the International Forum “Bolshaya Khimiya” being held within the events of The Week of Petrochemistry in the Republic of Bashkortostan. Rustam Minnikhanov are to make a report in the plenary session.

On May 20, at his meeting with more than 100 representatives of Tatarstan media agencies and reporters of federal publishing companies at Piramida Culture and Entertainment Complex in Kazan, Interim President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that investment programmes will be reduced in the republic. Head of Regional Press and Mass Communications Airat Zaripov was moderator of the event.
On May 21, at the Bars sports centre in Tetyushi (Tatarstan), Acting President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, FINA President Julio Maglione, Tatarstan Youth Affairs and Sports Minister Vladimir Leonov and other officials took part in an opening ceremony of a swimming pool.
