“All resources of Tatarstan and Kazan federal university will be aimed at establishment of a modern IT university in the context of the project of innovation satellite city “Innopolis” in Tatarstan,” the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stated at the meeting with officials of Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (USA). Director of iCarnegie Gil Taran, Director of Philanthropies at iCarnegie Michael Shteiner took part in the meeting.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has arrived in Pittsburgh (USA, Pennsylvania) with a working visit. The trip is mainly aimed at acquaintance with activity of Carnegie Mellon University to use it further in the context of training IT specialists and implementing the project of innovative satellite city “Innopolis”.

The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with academician of the Russian academy of sciences, honourable member of Academy of sciences of the Republic of Tatarstan Rashid Syunyaev.
Today, the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Kazan secondary school № 12 "Mishpahteynu", also known in Kazan as "Jewish" school. The educational institution has received a new additional building, which is more comfortable for students and teachers.
The Govenment of the Republic of Tatarstan will allocate one billion rubles on "Miras-Heritage" program in next 4 years. These data were presented today during a meeting on the development of the program, which was held by the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov in the House of Government. The meeting was also attended by the RT Minister of Economy Midhat Shagiakhmetov, Assistant to RT President of Olesya Baltusova, Deputy Minister of Culture of Tatarstan Svetlana Persova.

IT Lyceum before Kazan (Volga) Federal University (K (D) FU) opened today in Kazan. IT Luceum is separate Educational Scientific structural unit, providing training in basic, intermediate and secondary general education. All gifted children from the municipal districts of Tatarstan, the Volga Federal District and other regions of Russia will be taught here. The opening ceremony of IT Lyceum was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Sport Natalia Parshikova, Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Gilmutdinov, Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Information and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others.
Today The Medical Center of the Universiade Village was officially opened in Kazan. The opening ceremony was attended by the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Sport Natalia Parshikova Minister of Health care Ayrat Farrakhov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, rector of Kazan (Volga) Federal University Ilshat Gafurov and other officials. Medical Center also includes the Student Health Centre.
Today the President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Tatar school № 27, where he took part in the solemn meeting, dedicated to the Day of Knowledge. The event was also attended by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan Albert Gilmutdinov, RT Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Irek Faizullin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin and others.

Today Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov during his visit to Arsk municipal district launched a new sports and cultural center and visited overhauled secondary school № 2.
Today the solemn opening of Ice Palace "Pestretsy arena" took part in Pestrechinsky municipal district of Tatarstan. The opening ceremony of the sports facility was attended by President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, State Secretary - Deputy Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Natalia Parshikova, Minister of Youth, Sports and Tourism Rafis Burganov and many others.
