The round of F1 Powerboat World Championship - Grand Prix of Tatarstan was held in Kazan, the lake Nizhny Kaban. The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, members of the Tatarstan Government attended the competitions. Tens of thousands of Kazan dwellers also watched the racing on the lakeside.
The Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has attended Sabantui celebrations in Kazan. He visited the central maidan in Mirny settlement. Traditional festivities were held at 11 display sites stylized as village backyards that were organized by the Ministry of agriculture and foodstuff.
