On December 17 at an extended session of the Council for interethnic and interconfessional relations Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan leadership intends fighting illegal migration, and at the same time is ready to support law-abiding foreign citizens willing to live, study and work in the republic.

On December 17 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in an extended session of Russian Pension Fund at Kazan City Hall, where Board Chairman of the Fund Anton Drozdov said that Tatarstan Department is one of the most up-to-date in terms of implementing modern information technologies.

On December 16 at a meeting on staffing support of economic sectors in Almetievsk Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that further innovative development and economic modernization of Tatarstan is impossible without staff training system.

On December 16 during his working trip to the South-East of the republic Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Leninogorsk Petroleum College and Almetyevsk State Oil Institute, being part of the educational cluster established by OAO “Tatneft”.

On December 16 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a board session of OAO “Tatspirtprom” on results of financial and economic activity for 9 months of 2013, budget for 2014, energy saving programme, and the board’s working schedule for 2014.

On December 16 at his meeting with Luxembourg Ambassador to Russia Pierre Ferring at Tatarstan Government House, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked the Ambassador for attention paid to Tatarstan and reminded that last year the representative business delegation of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg led by Prime Minister visited the republic.

On December 14 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a weekly session of Coordination council on ensurance of law and order in the Republic of Tatarstan where heads of law enforcement bodies reported on current situation, investigation of high profile crimes connected with fire setting at religious objects.

On December 14 at a regional video conference meeting held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov at Tatarstan Government House Deputy Prime Minister – Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Foodstuff Marat Akhmetov told about implementation of programme on modernization of agricultural machinery for 2014 in Tatarstan.
