Divers operating at the place of “Bulgaria” shipwreck found bodies of 6 people. Thus, by 14:00 p.m on July 14 the number of victims is 112. Search operations are being accomplished in water basin of Volga River, on the bank and islands. The searching area makes 190 km downstream. Forces and means involve 1144 people, 188 units of equipment including 12 aircrafts, 11 river boats and 24 motorboats.

Tatarstan officials on the delegation of Russian bidding committee for the right to host World championship in water sports in 2015/2017 arrived in Shanghai (China). The visit is mainly aimed at participation in final presentation of candidate cities bids at a regular session of FINA bureau (International swimming federation) on July 15.

Operations on investigating the motor-boat and preparation for its uplifting continue at the place of “Bulgaria” shipwreck. Such information was given at a session of Government commission for investigating causes and circumstances of the tragedy. Bodies of 100 people perished upon “Bulgaria” shipwreck have been retrieved, Ministry of emergency situations informs on July,13 at 10:00 (63 women, 18 children, 19 men). Bodies of 91 people were identified. 66 bodies were given to relatives for burial.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited the site of “Bulgaria” shipwreck. RT President who is coordinating the search operations took part in selective meeting at headquarters of Ministry of emergency situations deployed near the settlement Kuibyshev Zaton. Later on Head of republic went to the site of shipwreck and spoke to the divers.

Specialists on vessels lifting started investigating the sunk ship “Bulgaria” at depth. Such information was given today at a session of government commission for investigation of circumstances and causes of the shipwreck. The session was held by RF Deputy Minister of transport Viktor Olersky at House of RT Government with participation of RT Premier Ildar Khalikov.
