Today, on 70-anniversary of beginning of Great Patriotic War President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov laid flowers to the Eternal Flame in Victory park in Kazan.Rustam Minnikhanov paid a tribute to the fallen during Great Patriotic War together with heroes of the Soviet Union Sabir Akhtyamov, Boris Kuznetsov and veterans of GPW. After laying flowers Head of Tatarstan spoke to veterans.

Official opening of new building of town unit of RF investigation department on RT took place in Naberezhye Chelny. RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, Mayor of Naberezhye Chelny Vasil Shaikhraziev, head of investigation department of RF Investigation committee on RT, colonel of Justice Pavel Nikolayev attended the event.
The situation with drugs turnover in Tatarstan is characterized by increase in number of sorts of narcotic drugs. Such information was given at a briefing in RT Cabinet dedicated to International Day Against Drug Abuse And Illicit Trafficking.

Issues of cooperation between two neighboring regions of Russia – the Republic of Tatarstan and Ulianovsk region were discussed at a meeting of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov with delegation of Ulianovsk region led by Deputy Chairman of district government Vladimir Kozin. The meeting took place in Kazan Kremlin with participation of Head of RT Agency for investment development Linar Yakupov, and Director of Department for external relations – Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov.
A meeting of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov with Chairman of Iranian bank Tejarat Majid-Reza Davari took place in Kazan on June, 20. The Islamic centre for development and trade under Organization of the Islamic conference is a mediator on establishing business contacts with countries – members of Organization of the Islamic conference. Such opinion was expressed by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov at a meeting with consul-general of the centre Allal Rashdi. The event took place in Kazan Kremlin with participation of RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Head of RT Agency for investment development Linar Yakupov, and Director of Department for external relations – Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is considering the opportunity of opening the consulate in the Republic of Tatarstan. The decision has not been made yet but this issue is under consideration. Such information was given by Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Russia Ali Hassan Jaafar at a meeting with President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.
“Malaysia is an undoubted leader in the sphere of Islamic finances and Tatarstan intends to adopt experience of this country in this issue”, - President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov announced at a meeting with Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Malaysia in RF Dato' Zainol Abidin Bin Omar. The meeting was held within the frameworks of III International Islamic business and Finance Summit “KazanSummit - 2011" (Kazan, KRK “Pyramid”).

All-Russia scientific-practical seminar themed: "Rural roads. Experience, problems, decision search" opened today in Exhibition centre “Kazansky Yarmarka". In the event took part RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, Head of federal road agency “Rosavtodor” Anatoly Chabunin, RT Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin, heads of core ministries and road organizations from 30 RF subjects, heads of RT municipal regions.
