Vice – Premier of Russia Igor Sechin arrived in Kazan

March, 4. Deputy Chairman of RF Government Igor Sechin arrived in Kazan. He was met by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at international airport “Kazan”. Igor Sechin arrived in Kazan to take part in XI session of Joint Inter-government Russia-Turkey commission on trade-economic cooperation where RF Vice-Premier holds the post of Co-chairman.

RT Prime Minister Ildar Kahlikov congratulated winners of republican contest “Woman of Year. Man of year: women’s view 2011”

RT Prime Minister Ildar Kahlikov wished Tatarstan women more smiles and kind words at solemn summing up of republican contest “Woman of Year. Man of year: women’s view 2011”. The event took place in cultural-entertaining complex “Pyramid” (Kazan). Nominees and winners of the contest from all municipal regions of republic gathered there.

Turkish Energy Minister: I am sure the Turkish business will have new opportunities in Tatarstan

New opportunities for investment will appear in Tatarstan for Turkish companies. The Minister of energy and Natural resources of the Republic of Turkey Taner Yildiz expressed such an opinion after a meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at the Kazan Kremlin.

Taner Yildiz arrived in Kazan to take part in the opening and plenary meeting of the Joint Turkey-Russia Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Taner Yildiz at the Kazan International Airport.

Tatarstan President meets with Chairman of the Board of Stroitransgaz

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Sergei Makarov, the Chairman of the Board of Stroitransgaz, at the Tatarstan House of Government on March 3. Tatarstan Vice-Premier – Energy Minister Ildar Fardiev, Aide to the Tatarstan President Rinat sabirov, Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Director General Rafinat Yarullin, Tatneft Deputy Director General Nikolai Glazkov attended the meeting.

Rustam Minnikhanov: Foundation of Federal university is a priority project for republic

“Tatarstan Republic is ready to make efforts for creating Kazan Federal University as powerful scientific-educational centre. This issue will be a priority for RT authorities”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said while visiting Kazan Federal University.

Rustam Minnikhanov addressed heads of departments of Kazan Federal University. Head of republic stressed that prospects of any state and any region depend on educational potential. “We have to reestablish positions of Kazan higher school, particularly Kazan University. We have gained the status of federal university but current state of university requires next steps on part of federal institutions and republic”, - RT President stressed.

Transport security and railway tariffs discussed in Moscow

March, 3. President of JSC “Russian railways” Vladimir Yakunin held district meeting with participation of Plenipotentiary to RF President in Volga Federal District Grigori Rapota and governors of few regions including Nizhni Novgorod, Kirov and Saratov regions. The Republic of Tatarstan was presented by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Minister of transport and road construction Lenar Safin.

Rustam Minnikhanov visited Geydar Aliev Fund in Baku

The Republic of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Geydar Aliev Fund in Baku on Wednesday. The head of the republic is on a working visit in the capital of Azerbaijan – Baku.Rustam Minnikhanov and the accompanying officials visited Geydar Aliev Museum where documents and photos from his personal archive are exhibited. The guests were informed about the purposes and work of the fund which was founded in memory of the nationwide leader Geydar Aliev.

Press secretaries of Tatarstan ministries and departments master new media resources

Within the framework of strategic partnership with RT Government implied by agreement on developing info-communication technologies, “Megafon” company together with press service of RT President held seminar for press secretaries and employees of press service of state authorities.The seminar was dedicated to efficient use of new media resources to organize dialogue with the audience. Within the limits of seminar employees of press services of 20 ministries and departments mastered basic principles of work in modern information societies, social networks, blogs and other informal media resources.

March 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working visit to Azerbaijan. Late on March 1, the plane with Rustam Minnikhanov aboard landed in Baku’s Geidar Aliyev Airport where Azerbaijan Economic Development Minister Shakhin Mustafaev, Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin, Tatarstan Permanent Representative to Azerbaijan Nail Zaripov, Kamaz Director General Sergei Kogogin, Chairman of the World Congress of Tatars Rinat Zakirov, representatives of the Tatarstan Trade House in Azerbaijan and others met the Tatarstan delegation.
