On March, 1 in the course of working visit of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov to Free State of Saxony a number of documents on further cooperation between Russian and German regions were signed.At Congress centre of Leipzig fair Rustam Minnikhanov held meetings with Prime Minister of Free State of Saxony Stanislav Tillikh. By results of the meeting R. Minnikhanov and S. Tillikh signed final protocol of working visit of Tatarstan Head to Saxony.In presence of Rustam Minnikhanov and Stanislav Tillikh rector of Kazan State Technical University named after A.N.Tupolev Yuri Gortyshov and President of Centre of competence of mechanical engineers of Chemnitz city Hans Jürgen Neumann signed agreement on joint realization of project of creating German-Russian centre of competence of mechanical engineering in Tatarstan Republic.

The Tatarstan-Saxony cooperation is a good example of regional interaction that makes a good contribution to the cause of expansion of Russia-Germany relationship, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed his opinion speaking at the opening of the fairs “Z/intec 2011” at the Leipzig Trade Fair. The Tatarstan delegation is in Leipzig in the framework of the visit to the Free State of Saxony.

The official visit of Tatarstan delegation to Free State of Saxony started today. Tatarstan delegation headed by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Leipzig. Among members of delegation are RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Director of department for external relations under RT President – Aide to RT President Timur Akulov and Aide to RT President Iskander Mouflikhanov.

Russian regions should provide infrastructure for using all-purpose electronic citizen’s card, President of Russia Dmitri Medvedev announced at session of commission on modernization and technological development of economy dedicated to elaboration and implementation of all-purpose electronic card. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the session that was held in Moscow. Creation of all-purpose electronic card in Russia is stipulated by the law “On organization of rendering state and municipal services”. This card is expected to be used for rendering state services, banking operations and as identification document.

The program “Balakach” will be the performance indicator of heads of regions and cities. Monitoring of realization of the socially important program will be carried out in each region of Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov stated on Friday at the session on issues of construction and major repairs of pre-school educational institutions in Tatarstan in 2011.

Ensuring security at industrial and construction objects should be system-based. Such opinion was suggested by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at final session of Volga Department of Federal service for ecological, technological and nuclear supervision. Head of Volga Department Boris Petrov reported on results of activity of the institution. By his words, situation with industrial security at dangerous production objects is still very complicated. The number of revealed violation of industrial security requirements is annually the same. Boris Petrov noted non-compliance of many functioning plants with modern security requirements established in 2003.

Two-day VII report and elect conference of judges of RT has started in Kazan. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in opening of the forum.The President stressed that stability in the region depends much on work of judges. “We want our jurisdiction to be modern, efficient, punitive but not derogative to one’s dignity”, - Head of Republic emphasized. He also noted that republican authorities pay much attention to upgrading facilities of courts, creation of proper conditions for activity, and increase of reputation of judges and employees of the court.

February,23. Delegation of journalists of federal mass media headed by TV talk-show hostess Tina Kandelaki visited Kazan IT-park. Officials of federal mass media were accompanied by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. Projects in the sphere of IT-technologies were presented to the guests. RT Vice-premier – Minister of info and communications Nikolai Nikiforov made the key presentation. He told journalists about the system “E-government”. Tina Kandelaki personally used application for electronic documents circulation on «iPad».

President of the Republic of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov informed about Tatarstan experience in the “Electronic Government” systems development the meeting with representatives of federal mass media on Wednesday.A delegation of federal mass media headed by TV-presentor Tina Kandelaki visited Kazan on February 23. Tatarstan Vice-Premier – Minister of Informatization and Communications Nikolai Nikiforov, head of the Republican Agency for the Press and Mass Communications Marat Muratov took part in the meeting, RT Pres-dent’s press-service informs.
