On September 5, at a regional videoconference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov reported that as of today 1.27 million hectares or 82 per cent of the grain crop area have been harvested in Tatarstan, with an average yield of 22.3 centners per hectare.

On September 5, at the Tatspirtprom branch “Usadsky Distillery”, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a board session of OAO "Tatspirtprom". The main issues on the agenda were results of financial and economic activity of OAO «Tatspirtprom" for the first half of 2014 and implementation of investment projects.

On September 4, at his meeting with the staff of Tatenergosbyt Company, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that despite the tough economic situation in the country, Tatarstan maintains stability in the oil, petrochemical and machine building industries.

On September 4, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Head of Russian Federal Service for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Supervision Svetlana Radionova took part in a plenary session of All-Russia seminar “Experience in federal supervision in construction and use of chemical and petrochemical enterprises” organized by the Federal Service in Kazan.
