On August 27, during his visit to the Kazanorgsintez chemical plant, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who was accompanied by Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, noted its great contribution to the development of Tatarstan economy.
On August 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a board session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”.Head of Volga Department of Russian Federal Service for Ecological, Technical and Atomic Supervision Boris Petrov told about holding of All-Russia seminar on state control at chemical and petrochemical facilities and session of the section of research and technical council of Russian Federal Service for Ecological, Technical and Atomic Supervision in Kazan on September 3-5.
A general shareholders meeting and board session of OAO “Tatfondbank” was held on August 27. New board of directors comprised of 11 members, including Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Managing Director, Head of UBS Directorate for organization of Funding in Eastern Europe and CIS Anatoly Iofe was elected.

On August 26, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatarstan Minister of Civil Defense and Emergency Situations Rafis Khabibullin, Head of Drizhzhanovsky region Alexander Shadrikov took part in the opening of a new fire station in Staroe Drozhzhanoe village, Tatarstan.
On August 26, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, and Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov took part in opening of new kindergarten for 80 children in Drozhzhanovsky region.
