Results of work of Tatarstan delegation at St.Petersburg International Economic Forum were presented to journalists at today’s video conference briefing at Tatarstan Government House. Aide to Tatarstan President on economic issues Airat Khairullin, Minister of Information and Communication Roman Shaikhutdinov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Lenar Yakupov, and Deputy Minister of Economy Artem Zdunov took part in the event.

On June 25 at their meeting in Kazan Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the Organisation of the Islamic Conference Ildus Ilishev discussed issues of further development of mutually beneficial relations.

On June 24 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin visited construction materials hypermarket Leroy Merlin in Kazan.Leroy Merlin is a French retailer company that specializes in sales of construction and decoration materials. The company was founded in 1923 in the North of France and today takes the 3d place in Europe by sales of construction goods.

On June 24 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, accompanied by OAO Tatneft Director General Shafagat Takhautdinov, Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture, Housing and Communal Services Irek Faizullin, took part in the opening ceremony of the largest multi-level car parking in Kazan on Chistopolskaya street.

On June 23 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in official opening of Planetarium at V.P. Engelgardt Astronomical Observatory. Total area of the Planetarium is 15 hectares.
