On June 20 at his meeting with Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov U.S. Under Secretary of Commerce for International Trade Francisco Sánchez said that Tatarstan Republic is the example of good cooperation between the Russian Federation and USA in the sphere of trade and investments.
At their meeting within the framework of St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and officials of Thomson Reuters agency agreed on presentation of the company’s opportunities and services for Tatarstan mineral and energy companies at a session of OAO “Tatneftekhiminvest-holding”.
On June 20 at their meeting within the framework of St.Petersburg International Economic Forum Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Director General of SAP CIS Vitaly Postolatiy discussed issues of strategic partnership, and holding of SAP forum in Kazan.

Official opening of a new runaway and reconstructed passenger platform was held at the International airport “Kazan” on June 20.The reconstruction works started in 2011 within the framework of preparation for summer Universiade. The funding of 4,5 bln rubles was provided under the federal programme “Development of Russian transport system in 2010-2020”.

On June 19 at his meeting with Deputy Minister of the Interior Commander-in-Chief of the interior troops, General of the Army Nikolay Rogozhkin Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov discussed participation of the interior troops in ensuring security of the World summer Universiade in Kazan.

On June 18 the Ceremony of awarding Tatarstan doctors, winners of the republican contest “Doctor of the year” was held at Universiade International Information Centre.
On June 18 during her working trip to Kazan Vice-Premier of the Russian Government Olga Golodets visited Universiade Village.
On June 18 answering journalists’ questions after the ceremony of awarding Tatarstan doctors – winners of the VI Republican contest “Doctor of the year” that was held at the International information center (IIC) Vice-Premier of the Russian Government Olga Gorodets said: “Kazan hospitals were built properly. I have no complaints about it.”
