President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has left for a short-term holiday. His functions are vested on Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.
Issues of rendering high-quality services to tourists in Bolgar and Sviyazhsk during Universiade have been discussed at a meeting at Tatarstan Government House held by Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov on March 26.
At a briefing at Tatarstan Government House Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Artem Sidorov informed that this year sanitary and ecological two-month campaign starts on April 15. The date has been changed because of severe weather conditions in republic. Earlier the campaign was implemented on April 1 – June 1. According to the minister, there were other reasons to change the dates.

At the awarding ceremony of the Republican contest “Philanthropist of the year 2012” President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Tatarstan society should get to a new level of charity development taking into account special features of national culture and history.”
Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev held a video conference meeting on issues of spring field works. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov participated in the event.
OAO “Tatneftekhhiminvest-holding” Board session was held at Tatarstan Government House on March 25. The session was chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Several innovative projects were considered at the session.
Tatarstan State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev has met with Consul General of Kazakhstan Republic in Kazan Askhat Nuskabai. The decision about opening of Consulate General of Kazakhstan Republic in Kazan was made last year. Askhat Zharlykasynovich Nuskabai was appointed Consul General.
OAO “Tatneft” Board session was held in Kazan on March 25. The session was chaired by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov.

On March 23 President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in a plenary session of 2nd All-Russia meeting of entrepreneurs of Tatar villages. Before the meeting Rustam Minnikhanov looked over the exposition at G.Kamal theatre. Different products and souvenirs of rural entrepreneurs were presented at the exhibition.
