An updated concept of the “Smart City Kazan” project has been presented to the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov today at St.Regis Singapore hotel (Singapore) within the confines of VII Russia-Singapore business forum. The project was prepared in cooperation with the Tatarstan Investment Development Agency and the Malaysian consortium comprised of AMANAH CapitalGroup, Straits Consulting Engineers, AJM Planing and Urban Design Group.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has acquainted with activity of Hwa Chong Institution. Director of the school Hon Chiew Weng presented the institution for the Tatarstan delegation. Russia’s Minister of Communications and Mass Media Nikolai Nikiforov, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov took part in the event.

The Tatarstan President is accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan and Minister of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov, Aide to the Tatarstan President Radik Gimatdinov, Chief Executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Linar Yakupov, Chairman of OAO “Ak Bars” Bank Robert Minnegaliev.

Memorandum of cooperation and interaction in the context of the project of territorially detached innovation center Innopolis between the Republic of Tatarstan and State Corporation Bank for development and foreign economic activity (Vnesheconombank) has been signed within the framework of XI international investment forum “Sochi-2012”.

Mutual understanding of a subject’s leadership with federal and municipal authorities is one of the main conditions of successful development of the Russian regions. Such opinion was expressed today by the Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at a business lunch of “Sberbank” within the framework of XI International investment forum "Sochi-2012".
