President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov arrived with a working visit in United Arab Emirates. Tomorrow, May 10, Rustam Minnikhanov will take part in opening of Annual Investment Meeting 2011 (AIM-2011) in Dubai. The event will take place in territory of international World Trade Center.
Festive parade celebrating the 66th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War took place in Kazan. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, RT State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, and Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in festive event on Millenium Square.
May 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov honored the memory of soldiers who fell in the great Patriotic War. The head of the republic laid flowers to the Eternal Flame at the Colonnade in the Glory Memorial at the Park of Victory and the Monument to mothers and widows of the fallen soldiers. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and State Council Chairman Farid Mukhamershin also took part in the wreath-laying ceremony.

Family farms considered one of the perspective points of growth agriculture of Tetush and Kamsko-Ustinsky municipal regions of Tatarstan and regional administrations should strengthen their work in this direction. Such an opinion has been expressed by RT President during the working trip across the these regions.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended an event on the occasion of the 66th Anniversary of the Victory in the 1941-945 Great Patriotic War. It took place at the Galiasgar Kamal Theatre. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev and Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov attended the event.
President of Tatarstan Republic Rustam Minnikhanov held a session of working group on preparing the session of Council under Pl.. Representative of RF President in VFD “On prospects of developing energy complex in the Volga Federal District”. The session was held in Kazan Kremlin, Residence of RT President in format of video conference with all regions within Volga Federal District.

Works on modernization of railway line from Kazan railway station to international airport “Kazan” will start on May, 15. Such information was announced today at a working meeting on issue of organizing intermodal transportation held by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. Head of Gorky railways Anatoli Lesun, RT Premier Ildar Khalikov and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin also took part in the event.
May,5 President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with CEO of “Sovfracht” company in Kazan Kremlin. Chairman of Directors board of OOO “Managing company “Sovfracht” Aleksandr Ivanov, RT Minister of transport and road facilities Lenar Safin, Aide to RT President Rinat Sabirov and others attended the meeting.
“Opening of Belarus Embassy branch in Kazan should lead to development of cooperation between Tatarstan and Belarus”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov said at a meeting with Ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Belarus in Russia Vasily Dolgolev. The meeting took place in House of RT government with participation of RT Premier Ildar Khalikov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, RT Minister of transport and road facilities Lenar Safin and RT Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov.
