Prime Minister of Tatarstan Ildar Khalikov visited exhibition “Education. Career” that is being held on the territory of Exhibition Centre “Kazan Yarmarka”. Head of RT government viewed exposition that was organized in two exhibition halls. More than 130 participants – representatives of republican universities, technical schools, job centres, recruiting agencies and special publishing houses were presented at the exhibition.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with President of ZAO «United leasing company «Center Capital» Avanesyan Igor Grigorievich, president KB «Transstroibank» Chitipokhovyan Petr Steranovich, general director of hotel «Courtyard Marriot» McNeil Cameron. The meeting was held in House of RT government with participation of Kazan Mayor Ilsur Metshin, Director of Department for external relations under RT President – Aide to RT President on foreign issues Iskander Muflikhanov.

From 12 air passes across state border functioning on the territory of Volga federal district the most intensively working are in Kazan, Samara, Ufa, Perm, and Orenburg. Such information was given by chief of Federal agency on arranging state border of the RF Dmitri Bezdelov at the meeting in Kazan. Interdepartmental regional meeting on condition and perspectives of developing system of air passes through state border of the Russian Federation functioning in the Volga federal district took place in House of RT government with participation of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov.

“Spiritual heritage of Tatarstan Muslims should be carefully preserved, studied and developed”, - RT President Rustam Minnikhanov declared at V special convention of Tatarstan Muslims. The event took place in G.Kamal theatre with participation of Chairman of Russian Council of muftis Ravil Gainutdin, Chief Advisor of RF President Administration Aleksei Grishin. The key topic of convention was elections of new Chairman of the Muslim Religious Board of Tatarstan Republic - mufti of RT. The post was vacant since January 2011 when former mufti Gusman hazrat Iskhakov tendered his resignation.

National anti-terrorist committee discussed in Moscow security measures in the period of preparation for holding 27th World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan. By words of Chairman of National anti-terrorist committee, Director of federal security service Aleksandr Bortnikov “international format and mass character of the event determine necessity of timely measures on ensuring anti-terrorist security for participants and guests of sport forum”.

22733 cars were realized in Tatarstan by companies-dealers in the period March,8,2010 – March, 31,2011 within the limits of program on utilizing vehicles and renewal of auto park at the expense of home-made cars. Such information was presented today by Deputy Minister of industry and trade Gulnara Akhmadeeva at briefing in House of RT Government. She reminded that the program was realized in two stages, the first one - till June, 2010, the second – till March,15, 2011. 25 000 Tatarstan citizens took part in the program that was aimed at supporting domestic producers of cars and rendering help to citizens with moderate income in buying new cars.

Temporary traffic restrictions for cargo transport on auto roads of public service of federal and regional significance which axle load exceeds permissible standards will be imposed from April, 15 to May, 14, 2011 in Tatarstan. Restrictions are imposed in accordance with RT Cabinet Edict and Order of Federal road agency № 21 dated 09.03.2011 “On imposing temporary restrictions for transport vehicles of public service of federal significance in 2011”.

One of the main tasks of U.S.-Russia Business Council upon visit to the Republic of Tatartsan – to disseminate the information about Tatarstan, its economy and investment possibilities among the US business representatives. This was stated immediately after meeting with RT President R.N. Minnikhanov by president and general director of U.S.-Russia Business Council Eduard Verona. By his words people in the USA know little about Russian regions and their economies.
