On August 30, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended Kazan City Racing motor show. The route was 800 meters long and passed through the historic center of the city along Millennium Square.

On August 30, on the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Vasil Shaikhraziev, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Chairman of the Union of Writers of Tatarstan Danil Salikhov and other cultural figures took part in a solemn unveiling of the monument to the Tatar poet Hadi Taktash.

On August 29, at the Korston Entertainment Complex in Kazan, speaking at a solemn reception on the occasion of the celebration of the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan, President of the republic Rustam Minnikhanov said: “The Day of the Republic is an important holiday for us, Tatarstan residents, and we always look forward to it and have new achievements and success to welcome this day.”
On August 29, in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the formation of Tatarstan.
On August 29, on the eve of the Day of the Republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Tatarstan Prime Minister Alexey Pesoshin, representatives of government agencies and public figures took part in a ceremony of unveiling memorial plaques to two outstanding statesmen Fikryat Tabeyev (1928-2015) and Gumer Usmanov (1932-2015) in Kazan.
