On 26 June Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and Russian Deputy Minister of Education Vladimir Zhelonkin took part in a ceremony of opening the professional skills Abilimpiks championship among participants of the special military operation (SMO) held at the Kazan Expo Exhibition Center from 26 June to 1 July.
On 26 June, in his address on occasion of the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Rustam Nigmatullin, who is also the Deputy Chairman of the Anti-Drug Commission of the republic, wrote: “ On 26 June the whole world marks the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking which was established in 1987 as an expression of the determination of the UN General Assembly to intensify its efforts and create a global society free from drug abuse. “
On 25 June in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a meeting of the Grid Company Board of Directors which considered issues of reliability of power supply to consumers connected to the Company’s electrical networks, results of industrial and financial-economic work, the implementation of the Company’s capital construction plan for the first three months of 2026 and the information about the development of the electric vehicles charging stations infrastructure in the republic.
On 20 June Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin visited celebrations of the Tatar national holiday Sabantuy in the birch-tree grove of the settlement of Derbyshki in Kazan, where he looked round Tatar homesteads of Saby and Baltasi regions, demonstrating traditions and cultural peculiarities of the Tatars, rural residents and village homes with traditional household items.
On 18 June a number of heads of delegations-participants of the Russia-ASEAN summit completed there working trip to Kazan, and at the Kazan International Airport the Prime Minister of Tatarstan Aleksey Pesoshin bid farewell to the Sultan of Brunei His Majesty Hassanal Bolkiah, the Prime Minister of Malaysia Anwar Ibrahim, the Prime Minister of Thailand Anutin Charnvirakul, the Prime Minister of Cambodia Hun Manet and the President of the Philippines Ferdinand Marcos Jr.
On 16 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Indonesia Mister Sugiono, who came on a working trip to Tatarstan, was welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Vasil Shaykhraziev.
During his visit to Kazan, the Indonesian Minister will take part in the Russia-ASEAN Summit.
On 9 June upon his arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the Russian Minister for Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin.
In Kazan Sergey Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Ministers for Foreign Affairs of State-Participants of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
On 5 May, speaking at a regular meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector of the republic Marat Ayzatullin informed that currently 63 school catering units are under repairs with the amount of work completed reaching 15 per cent.
On May 26, speaking at a briefing in the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held in a videoconference mode with participation of all municipal regions of Tatarstan and focused on events scheduled for June 1, International Children’s Day, as well as the implementation of the “Summer in Tatarstan” programme, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic Leyla Fazleeva appealed that parents should closely supervise their children during recreational activities near water in order to prevent accidents.
On 18 May ay the CIPR conference in Nizhniy Nogorod the Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister Roman Shaykhutdinov, the Rector of the Innopolis University Aleksandr Gasnikpov and the Vice-rector of the University Yevgeny Bobrov will take part at round tables session of the conference.
Experts will discuss the role of Tatarstan and Innopolis as one of the key technological centers of the country and how regional innovative platforms help to solve tasks of the whole Russian industry. A special emphasis will be placed on the digital transformation of the oil and gas sector and how large clusters and scientific and technological centers are becoming drivers of industry change.
