On 22 August, speaking at a meeting held in the Government House of the republic with participation of the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the State Council of the republic Marat Akhmetov with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated residents of the republic on the State Flag Day celebrated today.
On 18 August in the Government House of the republic the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with the Consul General of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Kazan Davud Mirzakhani who, having been in office since 2023, is completing his diplomatic mission in Kazan.
On 15 August, speaking at a regional meeting held with participation of the Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Chairman of the regional State Council Marat Akhmetov with all municipalities taking part in it via videoconference, the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to hold the International Forum ROSTKI “Russia-China – mutually beneficial cooperation”, which will take place in Kazan on 16-19, August at a high level.

On 11 August the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov gave an errand to organize work to provide comprehensive assistance in gathering all necessary information, including conditions of the injured, to colleagues from a working group, which arrived from Uzbekistan to Nizhnekamsk and to organize transportation of the bodies of casualties to Uzbekistan.
On 10 August by his decision the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan has declared a day of mourning for those killed in a massive drone attack on industrial and residential facilities in Nizhnekamsk this morning.
As of 11 a.m. 14 fatalities, including one child has been confirmed and 48 people have been injured. High-quality medical care is being provided to all those seeking assistance.
On 7 August Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a solemn ceremony of handing in diplomas to graduates of Innopolis University, where he welcomed them on behalf of the Government of the republic and congratulated with having graduated the university.
“Today you are not just receiving diplomas of a prestigious university but are becoming a part of a community of professionals who define technological development of our republic and the country in the whole. We are interested in having graduates stay in Tatarstan - the infrastructure comfortable for life and work has been created such as the modern town on Innopolis, special economic zones, technical parks and companies-residents,” he stated.
On 4 August, speaking at a briefing on sanitary-epidemiological situation and compliance with safety measures during summer held at Tatarstan Government House, the regional Healthcare Minister Almir Abashev said: “First of all I would like to attract attention of those who are going to resorts, riversides and beaches in summer as there are two factors hazardous for a man. First of all it is insolation as the sun can damage the skin and one can get heatstroke. Second, it is essential to carefully select swimming locations authorized by local power bodies.”
On 28 July, speaking at a briefing in the Tatarstan Government House, the regional first Deputy Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Damir Shaydullin informed that more than 12 thousand multi-apartment houses have been renovated during the condos capital overhaul programme in the republic.
On 25 July, reporting about the harvest progress in the republic at a meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic , the regional Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Zyabbarov informed that 35 regions have already begun threshing winter wheat and six regions - winter rapeseed.
He also informed that the Chitopolskaya farm has started harvesting early potatoes and told about amount of moisture of the winter grain and rapeseed.
