On May 10, at a meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov at Tatarstan Government House, it was reported that, as of today, the sowing campaign has been completed at an area of 1 million hectares in Tatarstan, which makes 58 per cent of the total area of spring crops in 2014.

On May 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, and veterans took part in a solemn parade dated to the 69th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War on Freedom Square in Kazan.
On May 9, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Deputy Chairman of State Council Rimma Ratnikova, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, employees of ministries, agencies, enterprises and public organizations, students and pupils, veterans of the Great Patriotic War took part in solemn flower laying ceremony in Victory Park in Kazan.
On May 9, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov honoured the memory of Soviet soldiers fallen during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. Head of Tatarstan Government laid flowers to the monument "Soldier-the winner" at Arsk cemetery. The military orchestra played anthems of Russia and Tatarstan, and soldiers wearing uniform of those years marched in front of participants of the ceremony.

On May 8, at a solemn event dated to the 69th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War at M.Dzhalil Opera and Ballet Theatre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated veterans on the holiday. Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, heads of municipalities and war veterans took part in the event.
On May 8, at a meeting of the Regional organizing committee on holding the 70th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said: “Our common task today is to pay special attention to each veteran of the Great Patriotic War and not on a case by case basis. All veterans should feel care about them.”

On May 7, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a session of the Commission for Monitoring Targeted Socioeconomic Development Achievement Indicators in the Russian Federation held by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow.
On May 7, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov and Minister of Agriculture Marat Akhmetov made overflight of Mamadysh and Nizhnekamsk regions to inspect spring field works.
