On October 25 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev met with Kyrgyzstan Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Sultan Raev, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Russia Bolot Dzhunusov, sister of Chingiz Aitmatov Roza Aitmatova, film director and scriptwriter Bolot Shamshiev, and other members of Kyrgyzstan delegation that came to Kazan to take part in events dated 85th anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov.

On October 24 during a session of Military-industrial complex on staff assistance of military-industrial enterprises Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov noted that the staffing problem is the most urgent for the enterprises of military-industrial complex.
On October 24 at a field session of Military-industrial commission on staff assistance of military-industrial organisations at Kazan helicopters plant Deputy Chairman of Russian Government, Chairman of Military-industrial commission Dmitry Rogozin said that no machinery, no equipment will operate without highly skilled staff.
On October 24 Vice-Premier of Russian Government, Chairman of Russian Military-industrial commission Dmitry Rogozin attended the exhibition of military-industrial complex enterprises located in Tatarstan.

On October 24 at his meeting with President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development Suma Chakrabarti, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that EBRD is a long-time and reliable partner of Tatarstan.

On October 23 the book by Lev Ovrutsky “Conversations with Mintimer Shaimiev” was presented at the Regional Press and Mass Communication Agency in Kazan. Tatarstan State Councellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the presentation.
