On October 10, speaking at a solemn event dated to forthcoming Day of worker of agriculture and processing industry Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that rural area is not only the place where agricultural products are manufactured but a huge social block.
On October 10 at a meeting on issues of dairy industry in Kazan Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that is a very important sector of Tatarstan agriculture and should be a priority sphere for Tatarstan leadership and heads of municipal regions.
On October 10 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev, Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Office Asgat Safarov, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Kamaltynov, Deputy Chairman of State Council Rimma Ratnikova, heads of municipal regions, media agencies took part in presentation of a unique book “The Republic of Tatarstan. Fascinating trip.” This illustrated book tells about sights of Tatarstan regions and outstanding people who represent their nation.

On October 9 at their meeting in Kazan Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Ambassador of Belarus to Russia Igor Petrishenko, who came to Kazan to take part in the session of the Council of Eurasian Economic Commission, discussed expansion of trade-economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Tatarstan and Belarus.
On October 9 First Deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov, Board Chairman of the Eurasian Economic Commission Viktor Khristenko, and representatives of Kazakhstan and Belarus governments took part in VIII session of the Council of Eurasian Economic Commission in Kazan.
On October 9 First Deputy Chairman of Russian Government Igor Shuvalov, delegation of the Eurasian Economic Commission led by Board Chairman Viktor Khristenko, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev visited the ancient town of Bolgar (Spassky region, Tatarstan).

On October 8 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting on dairy industry development in Russia held by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Voronezh region.
On October 8 a specialized exhibition Dortransexpo opened in Kazan. The whole range of modern equipment, materials, and machinery for construction, maintenance and repair of roads and objects of transport infrastructure is presented at the exhibition.
On October 8 at a briefing at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers Chief of Tatarstan Department of Federal Tax Service Marat Safiullin reported that for 2012 Tatarstan citizens were charged more than 3.8 bln roubles of property taxes.
On October 8 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited new office of insurance company SOGAZ in Kazan. SOGAZ Board Chairman Sergey Ivanov showed Tatarstan President around new office. There are 60 employees working in the office.
