On October 7 during his working visit to Apastovsky and Buinsky regions Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan farmers must finish harvesting the rest 27 thousand hectares of sugar beet within 15-20 days.

On October 5 at a congress of United Russia party in Moscow Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that members of the party should improve their work with people and solve their problems. 27 delegates from Tatarstan, including Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of State Council Farid Mukhametshin took part in the congress.
On October 5 at a weekly regional meeting Tatarstan President criticized work of heads of some regions for failure to fulfill regional programmes.
On October 5 employees of state institutions, ministries, agencies, Tatarstan President’s Office and Government, including Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar, Chief of Staff of the Cabinet of Ministers Shamil Gafarov, and Minister of Forestry Nail Magdeev, planted trees in Kazan within the framework of a traditional nature protection campaign.
