Growth in tax proceeds has been seen in Tatarstan in the first quarter of 2011. Revenues made 14 billion roubles more than in the pre-crisis year of 2008, including 6.7 billion more in Tatarstan’s consolidated budget.A meeting held by the local fiscal, treasury and tax authorities discussed the performance under Tatarstan’s budget in the first quarter of 2011. The meeting was a video conference, chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with CEO of “Krasni Vostok – Solodovpivo” on April, 27. They discussed development of the company in Tatarstan in 2011.Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that they agreed on holding the meeting at session of Russian-Turkish inter-governmental commission held in Kazan on March,4,2011.
Joint session of Secretary of Security council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev and Plenipotentiary Representative of RF President in the VFD Grigori Rapota with participation of high position officials of RF subjects located within the limits of the Volga federal district is being held today in Saratov.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with RF Minister of culture Aleksandr Avdeev in House of RT government. RT Deputy Prime Minister Zilya Valeeva and RT Minister of culture Airat Sibagatullin took part in the meeting dedicated to development of culture in republic and support of artistic intelligentsia.
“Gabdulla Tukai is a successor of cultural traditions of Tatar people who brought to world civilization such people as Kul Gali, Mukhamediar, Mardjani, Nasyri”, - RF Minister of culture Aleksandr Avdeev announced at a festive event dedicated to 125th anniversary of Gabdulla Tukai.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has addressed citizens of the republic on the occasion of the Tatar literature classic, poet Gabdulla Tukai’s 125th anniversary, RT President’s press-service informs.
The ceremony of laying flowers to the monument of great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukai has been held in Kazan today, on his birthday. The event took place in the Square of Gabdulla Tukai. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, speaker of State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, members of creative unions of republic, laureates of RT State award named after Gabdulla Tukai, officials of creative intelligentsia and public organizations, students and teachers of educational cultural and art institutions came to honor the memory of great poet.

Delegation of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area headed by the Governor Dmitri Kobylkin visited Kazan federal university on Aril, 25. Head of Yamal was acomapnied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov. Guests visited Museum of Kazan University. Dmitri Kobylkin was very interested in historical auditorium № 7 where Vladimir Lenin studied.
On April, 25 RT President Rustam Minnikhanov held meeting with participants of extended session of International council of public associations “World congress of Tatars” that was dedicated to 125th anniversary of the poet G.Tukai.
Tatarstan innovations in the sphere of medicine and IT were presented to delegation of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous Area. Delegation headed by the Governor Dmitri Kobylkin was met at the international airport “Kazan” by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, and Deputy Chairman of State Council Aleksandr Gusev.
