About 4,5 mln. people in Russia live in slum or hazardous dwelling. This was announced by RF President Dmitry Medvedev at the session of RF State Council Presidium which was held in Syktyvkar (Komi Republic). The event was dedicated to issues of developing modern infrastructure in housing utilities complex. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the session of RF State Council Presidium.By words of Dmitry Medvedev, the given figures are not real, in fact, there are much more people living in such conditions. He stressed likewise that we have to move towards reducing the volume of slum dwelling. About 40 % of houses need to be repaired, Dmitry Medvedev said. He also assessed the activity of State Corporation “Fund of promoting reforms in housing and public utilities” created for making major repairs being rather successful.

November,23. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov is in Syktyvkar (Komi Republic) to take part in the session of RF State Council Presidium.The session is held by RF President Dmitry Medvedev. It is meant that RF State Council Presidium will summarize the problems of housing and communal complex and suggest a plan on its solution.

Elements of ecosystem of Silicon Valley will be implemented in Kazan. This has been announced today at briefing in RT Cabinet “on results of working visit of RT delegation headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov to USA”.On November, 15-21 RT delegation was with official visit in Silicon Valley (USA). The delegation headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov consisted of RT Vice-premier – Minister of informatization and communications Nikolai Nikiforov, Director of RT Investment-venture fund Ainur Aideldinov, Director General of JSC “Tatneft” Shafagat Takhautdinov, Aide to RT President Iskander Mouflikhanov, rectors of major universities and academic institutes of republic.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Head of representative office of “Inteza Sanpaolo” Bank (Italy), chairman of Directors Board of ZAO “Inteza Bank” Antonio Falliko at Kazan Kremlin. Antonio Falliko is in Kazan with two-day working visit (November,22-23,2010). Within the limits of his staying in Tatarstan he is going to meet with top management of such companies as JSC “TAIF”, JSC “Kazan fat complex”, “Bahetle”, JSC “Nefis Cosmetics” and others.

Issues of reconstructing air passes through state border of the Russian Federation in international airports “Kazan” and “Begishevo” were discussed at the meeting between RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of Volga territorial department of Russian border Sergey Korneev.The meeting was held in residence of Tatarstan President in Kazan Kremlin.Secretary of RT Security Council Valery Vlasov, Minister of transport and road construction lenar Safin took part in discussion.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov informed that major sport objects for Universiade 2013 have already been constructed. “Next year all the sport objects except for football stadium will be finished. Universiade village to be completed as well”, - head of republic said. By his words, transport infrastructure is to be prepared. Currently, this process is under way. President of Tatarstan pointed out other issues which need consideration, - “informatization and security”. “We have federal support in these issues. I think all intended tasks on conducting World summer student games will be realized in time”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.
