RT President Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in joint session of RF State council and commission on modernization and technological development of RF economy. The session is held by Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in George hall of Big Kremlin Palace (Moscow). The joint session is dedicated to issue of developing system of professional education in Russia.

The races dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Tatarstan and the Day of the city of Kazan are held at the Kazan Horse-Racing Complex on August 30. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov attended the event. The 1,600-meter-long round for the Tatarstan Golden Horseshoe Prize (for colts and mares born in 2007) was the most attended gathering with 14 horses participating and the prize fund of 100,000 roubles.

Gabdulla Tukai State Prizes were presentd to cultural figures by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov on August 30. The awards ceremony was held before the Galiasgar Kamal Tatar Drama Theater as amid celebrations of the Day of the Republic.

Today at the session in Kazan RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov entrusted members of Guardian council of RT Investment-venture fund with making thorough inventory of projects that undergo within the limits of contests of RT Investment-venture fund. The session of Guardian council of RT Investment-venture fund was held in RT Cabinet chaired by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov for the first time.

A recreation centre was opened in Aktanysh settlement within the limits of celebrations of 300-anniversary of Aktanysh settlement and 80-anniversary of Aktanysh municipal region. In solemn event took part RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, deputies of Russian state duma and RT State Council, head of republican ministries, head of Aktanysh region Engel Fattakhov, and the creative intellectuals.

Creation of the Nanotechnological centre at the Technopark Idea was discussed at the meeting of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Rosnano Deputy Director General Andrei Svinarenko. The meeting was held at the RT Hose of Government. Rosnano Managing Director for infrastructural projects Evgeny Evdokimov, Tatarstan First Deputy Prime Minister Ravil Muratov, Tatneftekhiminvest-holding Rafinat Yarullin, Director General of the Innovation and Industry Technopark Idea Sergei Yushko, Director of the Tatarstan Investment and Venture Fund Ainur Aideldinov and others attended the meeting.

President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbaev and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov discussed issues of developing trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Tatarstan. The meeting was held in Astana. Nursultan Nazarbaev is sure that cooperation between Kazakhstan and such large region of Russia as Tatarstan is traditionally based on friendship and trust and will be successfully developing.

Today’s session of RT Cabinet Presidium was dedicated to measures on resistance to spreading and use of psycho-active substances realized as household chemicals. The session was held by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov. Deputy Chairman of RT State Council Alexandr Gusev, heads of republican and federal ministries, RT Prosecutor’s office, responsible employees of RT President and RT Cabinet offices, officials of institutions of higher and secondary professional education attended the event.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov has seen production capacities of “Diamond Aircraft” company during working visit to Austria. Head of Tatarstan and his accompanying persons visited workshops for assembling single and double engine mini-planes of “Diamond” brand and workshop for producing items from composed materials.
