On 19 October, upon her arrival to the Kazan International Airport, the President of the New Development Bank Dilma Rousseff, who came to Tatarstan to take part in events of the 16th BRICS Summit, was welcomed by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and other officials.
On October 15, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin took part in a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the celebration of the 200th anniversary of the birth of Lev Nikolaevich Tolstoy, which was chaired by the Head of the Administration of Russian President Anton Vayno via videoconference.
On 14 October at a briefing in the Government House of Tatarstan journalists were informed about who will come to the BRICS summit to Kazan, who will have meetings with the Rais (Head) of the republic Rustam Minnihanov, what restrictions will be introduced in the capital of the republic and what is expected as the results of the largest international event.
On 5 October, speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin and regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities of the republic taking part in it via videoconference, the regional First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food Lenar Garipov reported that farmers of the republic continue harvesting of rapes, sunflower, sugar beet, potatoes and other vegetables.
On 5 October, speaking at a regional meeting held by the Rais (Head) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov in the Government House of the republic with participation of the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farid Mukhametshin and regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipalities of the republic taking part in it via videoconference, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Utilities Sector Marat Ayzatullin reminded that one national project and 4 regional programmes which include 185 various branch facilities are being implemented in Tatarstan and this is the most large scale sphere both in the number of facilities and the amount of financing.
On 3 October the Russian Deputy Chief of Staff of the Presidential Executive Office Maksim Oreshkin, Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Anton Alikhanov and the Minister of Higher Education and Science of the country Valeriy Falkov, who came on working trip to Tatarstan, accompanied by the regional Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin came to Innopolis which these days hosts the international forum Digital Innopolis Days and Innopolis AI Conference focused on cases in AI, robotics and innovations in education and training specialists.
On 3 and 4 October Russian Emergencies Ministry is organizing the All-Russia exercises in Civil Defense, with federal executive power bodies, heads of regions and local self-government bodies and organizations taking part in them. Provisional rescue units will also take part in the exercises which will check the feasibility of the developed plans for different periods of time and the readiness of all forces and means to required actions.
On October 2, Aide to Russian President, Chairman of the Maritime Board of Russia Nikolay Patrushev accompanied by Tatarstan Primne Minister Aleksey Pesoshin visited Zelenodolsk Shipbuilding Plant after Gorky, which is part of the Ak Bars Shipbuilding Corporation in Zelenodolsk.
On 1 October at their meeting in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Acting Director General of the Passport and Visa Service of Russian Internal Ministry Oleg Molodievski discussed current work of the Service branch in the republic and further development of cooperation in the implementation of the state policy in migration and provision of high quality migration services.
On 29 September in his address on the occasion of the Day of Machine-building Worker, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin congratulated employees and old stagers of the branch with their professional holiday and said: “Machine-building is one of leading branches of economy of Tatarstan which forms high added value and influences quality of life of the population. Stable work of defense and transport industries, manufacture of agricultural machinery and consumers’ goods is impossible without this branch which has a huge highly concentrated professional and intellectual capacity.
