On July 18 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov started a traditional meeting on issues of municipal economy from words of gratitude addressed to event managers, Tatarstan citizens, and everyone who helped to organise and hold Universiade 2013 in Kazan. Rustam Minnikhanov noted that due to well-coordinated responsible team work and citizens’ support all plans were realized.
On July 18 at his meeting with Coca-Cola President in Russia, Ukraine and Belarus Zoran Vucinic Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Zoran Vucinic and Coca-Cola company, the general partner of World Summer Universiade in Kazan for active participation in Student Games, and presented the Letter of Gratitude of Tatarstan President.
On July 17 Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, FISU President Claude-Louis Gallien, Russian Vice-Premier Arkady Dorkovich, and Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the official closing ceremony of 27th World Summer Student Games in Kazan.

On July 17 at their meeting in Kazan Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov summarized the results of 27th World Summer Universiade.
On July 17 Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Russian Vice-Premier Arkady Dvorkovich and Plenipotentiary of Russian President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich visited Kazan underground.
On July 17 Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev accompanied by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Sport Vitaly Mutko met with Russian sportsmen who participated in Universiade. The meeting took place in Universiade Village.
On July 17 Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev met with volunteers of the World Summer Universiade at International Information Centre in Kazan.
On July 17 at their meeting in Kazan Russian Deputy Minister of Energy Andrey Cherezov and Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov discussed Tatarstan experience in Universiade power supply. Participants of the meeting decided that the experience should be used at Olympic Games in Sochi in 2014.

On July 16 Chairman of Russian Government Dmitry Medvedev, who arrived in Kazan with a working visit, watched Universiade final men’s volleyball tournament.
On July 16 Tatarstan State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev met with FISU President Claude-Louis Gallien, FISU Secretary General Eric Saintrond, FISU First Vice-President, President of Russian Sport Student Union Oleg Matytsin.
