On July,7 RT Acting President - Premier Ildar Khalikov met with delegation of Islamic Republic Iran led by Chief of organization for hajj affairs Said Ali Gaziastar in Kazan. The meeting took place in House of RT Government. Delegation of Islamic Republic Iran in Kazan took part in III International conference on hajj “Hajj is a unity of Muslims. The past and the future. Integrated approaches”. The conference is aimed at development of the system on hajj organization for Russian Muslims, CIS countries and Balkan region and finding joint solutions of incipient problems at various stages of hajj organization.

RF President Dmitry Medvedev discussed realization of regional programs on developing children pre-school education in terms of increasing the number of places at pre-school institutions with heads of RF subjects. A meeting “On developing pre-school education in RF and efficiency of budget funds expenditure allocated for construction of pre-school institutions” was held in format of video conference with participation of RT Premier Ildar Khalikov.
Issues of cooperation within the limits of project on constructing transport corridor “Europe – Western China” have been discussed at a meeting between Acting RT President Ildar Khalikov and RF Deputy minister of transport Andrei Nedosekov. The meeting took place in House of RT Government with participation of RT Minister of transport and road facilities Lenar Safin and others.

“Reconstruction of 12-km section of motor road “Kazan-Zelenodolsk” is to be finished by August, 30, 2011”, - head of FGU “Federal department for motor roads of Volga-Vyatka region” Mukhammat Gatiyatullin informed at a briefing in RT Cabinet. By words of M. Gatiyatullin, after reconstruction the section of highway from settlement Zalesny to traffic circle near settlement Ilinsky will correspond to category 1B - 4 traffic lines in both directions and 3 overground pedestrian crosswalks will be equipped along the highway.
In the nearest future there are no objective factors for rise in prices for automobile fuel and deficiency in Tatarstan. Such information was given at a briefing in RT Cabinet. According to Aide to RT President Rinat Sabirov monthly consumption of petrol in Tatarstan makes 90 000 tones. Plant “TAIF-NK” produces 50 000, the rest fuel is imported in republic from oil-refining plants of neighboring regions.
In the first half-year 1,152 bln. roubles were allocated for roads repair in Tatarstan. Such data have been presented today at a briefing in RT Cabinet “On results of spring works on maintenance of motor roads in RT’. According to Deputy minister of transport Eduard Danilov the winter was snowy that is why road workers put much emphasis on conducting anti-flood actions. In the first half-year Tatarstan roads underwent patch works at the area of 505 thousand m² (two times less than in 2010).
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on vacation from July 5 to 17.

V All-Russia holiday of Chuvash culture “Uyav” was celebrated in Nurlat region of Tatarstan Republic on July, 3.RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Chuvash republic Mikhail Ignatiev attended the event. Guests were to see broad entertainment program. Representatives of nations living in the region - Tatars, Chuvash, and Russians greeted guests by the entrance to maidan. Rustam Minnikhanov and Mikhail Ignatiev visited impromptu households, saw items of folk craft and tasted national dishes.

July,2. Prime Minister of Tatarstan took part in celebrations dedicated to national Tatar holiday Sabantui in Moscow (state culture preserve “Kolomenskoe”). The Republic of Tatarstan was also presented by Plenipotentiary of RT in Russia Ravil Akhmetshin, First deputy chairman of RF State Duma Oleg Morozov, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny city Vasil Shaikhraziev and other officials.

Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin, RF Deputy Minister of energy Sergei Kudryashov, representatives of Tatarstan ministries and departments, chiefs of territorial departments of federal institutions, chiefs of towns and districts of Tatarstan oil region, top managers of largest petrochemical enterprises, officials of RT President Staff and RT government.
