On March 19, speaking at a videoconference in the Government House of the republic held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin and all municipal regions of the republic, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin reported on the implementation of regional programmes for the capital repair of social and cultural facilities and multi-apartment buildings.

On 17 March Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin and the Chairman of the State Council of the republic Farit Mukhametshin took part in  an expanded meeting of the District Advisory Board on local self-government development  held in Kazan by the Russian Presidential Envoy in Volga Federal District Igor Komarov with participation of the Head of the State Duma Committee on state construction and legislation Pavel Krashennikov, heads of legislation bodies of regions of the district and Deputy of the Envoy Igor Burenkov.

According to the new legal act “On setting an experimental legal regulations in digital innovations and approval of the Program  of legal regulations in operation of connected and automated vehicles” passed by the Russian Government and to be enforced in 20 days, the Innopolis unmanned taxi cabs will be able to run on a test basis without a testing engineer in the car.

On 17 March at the LXIII meeting of the Association of Legislative (Representative) state power bodies of entities of the Russian Volga Federal District held in Kazan, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin informed about measures taken in the republic to stabilize public-political and social economic situation under limitations introduced by foreign countries and international organizations.

According to an agreement on cooperation signed by Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Innopolis University, specialists of the University Research center together with employees of the Ministry will develop software for AI analysis and semantic search of products in the catalogue of the State Information System of Industry. The work will be carried out within the Federal National Project of AI of the National Program of Digital Economy of the Russian Federation and parties have agreed to cooperate at all stages of implementation of innovative projects, organize joint events and research including the international ones.

On 9 March, speaking at a videoconference briefing with all municipalities of Tatarstan in the Government House in Kazan, the regional Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing and Utility Sector Marat Ayzatullin said that it is planned to commission 2m 755 thousand square meters of housing in the republic in 2022, including 148 multi-apartment investment houses, 56 houses within the investment programme of the State Housing Fund by Tatarstan President and 12 454 houses of individual housing construction.
