President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with three-time Olympic champion, President of Russian ski race Federation Elena Vyalbe and Honoured master of sports of the USSR, two-time Olympic champion Vyacheslav Vedenin.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with FISU delegation and FISU Secretary General Eric Saintrond. Director of FISU Summer Universiade Marc Vandenplas, Chairman of FISU Summer Universiade Supervision Committee Kemal Tamer, first FISU Vice-president, Head of Russian sport student union Oleg Matytsin, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Director of Universiade executive office Vladimir Leonov, Deputy Minister of youth affairs, sport and tourism Khalil Shaikhutdinov participated in the meeting at the RT Government House.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Board Chairman of All-Russia society of neurologists, head neurologist of the Russian Ministry of health care, Head of neurology and neurosurgery Department at Pirogov Russian national research medical university, academician of the Russian Academy of sciences Evgeny Gusev.

At All-Russia research and practice conference “Improvement of legal and institutional anti-corruption framework in Russian subjects: problems and solutions” Chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko said: “The Republic of Tatarstan is one of the advanced regions in Russia in terms of anti-corruption practice. Tatarstan’s experience should be used throughout the country.”

Russian Minister of emergency situations Vladimir Puchkov and President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in solemn presentation of special vehicles to employees of the RT Ministry of emergency situations and Ministry of health care.

Russian Minister of civil defence, emergency situations and liquidation of consequences of natural disasters Vladimir Puchkov arrived in Tatarstan with a one-day working visit. At the international airport “Kazan” he was met by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of emergency situations and civil defence – Head of the RT Department of the Russian Ministry of emergency situations Rafis Khabibullin.

At a final session of the Tatarstan Ministry of ecology and natural resources President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said that development of citizens’ careful attitude to environment since childhood guarantees ecological wellbeing. Russian Minister of ecology and natural resources Sergey Donskoy, Chief of Federal agency for water resources Marina Seliverstova participated in the event.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov participated in research and practice conference “Private-public partnership as the efficient tool of preservation of Russia’s cultural heritage sites.” Plenary session of the conference was held at the Kazan City Hall.

Gross income of Tatarstan communications industry accounted for 44 bln rubles in 2012. Share of the industry in republic’s GRP made 3.15 per cent. Such information was given by Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan, Minister of informatization and communications Roman Shaikhutdinov at a board session of the ministry.
