Harvest of sugar beet in 2011 is expected to make 1,8 mln. tons with total harvesting area of 80 thousand hectares, First Deputy minister of agriculture and foodstuff Minsagir Nurtdinov informed at a republican meeting on September, 23.
President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov criticized chiefs of several municipalities because of low rates of the program realization. RT President entrusted local authorities with preparing all documents necessary for receiving funds from republican and federal budgets within a week.

“Visit of Bashkortostan delegation to Tatarstan is a symbolic event”, - President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a meeting with Bashkortostan President Rustem Khamitov which took place in RT President Residence, the Kazan Kremlin.
Bashkortostan delegation led by the President Rustem Khamitov has visited several Universiade objects and Kazan federal university. Guests were accompanied by President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. Rustem Khamitov firstly visited Universiade Village. Head of Bashkiria inspected one of the buildings where all facilities meant for students and participants of the Games were presented to him. He talked to Bashkir students living on campus who said they were very satisfied with living conditions.

He was accompanied by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director general of JSC “KAMAZ” Sergei Kogogin, Minister of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Vasil Shaikhraziev.

“Tatarstan may learn a lot from Malaysia as one of the intensively developing states of Southeast Asia”, - President of Tatarstan said at a meeting with governor of Penang state Mr Tun Dato Seri Utama Abdul Rakhman Abbas. The meeting took place at the Kazan Kremlin.
Debriefing with participation of representatives of People’s Republic of China involved in preparation and holding summer Universiade - 2011 and Shenzhen will be held on October, 21-22 in Kazan. It will help specialists from Tatarstan to examine experience of colleagues, make use of methods and tools in terms of organization and holding World student sport games 2013 in Kazan.
“Federal Republic of Germany is one of the largest investors in Tatarstan economy”, - President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov stated at a meeting with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Federal Republic of Germany to Russian Federation Ulrich Brandenburg.
