A republican meeting on housing construction and putting into operation has today been held, chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov.According to Tatarstanstat, 1,811 thousand square meters of housing was as of December 16 put into operation, 90 percent of the plan.“There is no doubt we will put into operation this amount,” Tatarstan construction, architecture and housing minister Irek Faizullin said. The plan for the rest of December is 2,020 thousand square metres, he added, each building is being supervised by the ministry.Tatarstan President lashed out on the contractors proposing to put off the unfinished buildings until 2011, to improve their quality.

Memorandum of intentions by results of visit of RT President Rustam Minnikhanov to Novosibirsk oblast was signed in Novosibirsk. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of Novosibirsk oblast Vasily Yurchenko put signatures in the document.According to the document text, on December, 15-16, 2010 delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan headed by the President Rustam Minnikhanov stayed in Novosibirsk oblast by invitation of the Governor Vasily Yurchenko. In the course of meeting they discussed issues of mutual interest in the sphere of economy, industry, science, education, innovative cooperation and culture.

A Tatarstan delegation led by President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Novosibirsk late on December 15. It is expected that Rustam Minnikhanov will visit Chkalov Novosibirsk Aviation Industrial Association, the technopark of Novosibirsk Akademgorodok and Boreskov Institute of Catalysis. Besides, the delegation is to visit the Exhibition Centre of the Siberian branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences where they will take a tour of the innovation exposition and meet with activists of Novosibirsk Oblast-based Tatar community organizations.

A solemn ceremony of handing State Awards of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan has taken place in Representative building of the Kazan Kremlin. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov handed nonorary titles and awards to outstanding figures of republic.Head of RT Government stressed that the best specialists in the sphere of health care, culture, science and education gathered in Kazan Kremlin. “Due to work of staffs you are at the head of or work in, Tatarstan has become well-known in Russia and abroad”, - Ildar Khalikov said. December 14, the delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan led by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on a working visit to Malaysia.The delegation includes Aide to the Tatarstan President Iskander Muflikhanov, Director General of Holding Company Ak Bars Ivan Yegorov, Director General of IFC Linova – President of the non-profit Foundation for Islamic Business and Finance Development Lenar Yakupov, Head of the Tatneft Financial Board Yevgeny Tikhturov and KAMAZ Deputy Director General Yevgeny Pronin.The agenda of the visit has meetings with Malaysian leadership.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov has today met with the French delegation, led by Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Russia Jean de Gliniasty.The meeting took place at the Kazan Kremlin. Tatarstan was represented by the culture minister Zilya Valeeva, industry and trade minister Ravil Zaripov, Tatarstan Commerce and Industry Chamber chairman Shamil Ageev, aide to Tatarstan President on international affairs Timur Akulov, and others. Welcoming the guests, R. Minnikhanov recalled he had last met with the French ambassador during the investment forum in Saint-Petersburg in September 2010, when Jean de Gliniasty pledged to bring an extended business delegation to Tatarstan. “You are a man of word,” R. Minnikhanov stated. “I am sure the today’s meeting will give momentum to many of our joint projects.”

Today subjects of the federation should have contacts on regional level in economic, social, educational and cultural sectors. This has been announced by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at the meeting with delegation of Volgograd oblast headed by the governor Anatoly Brovko. The meeting was held in residence of RT President - Kazan Kremlin. We remind that delegation of Volgograd oblast consisted of 19 members headed by the governor Anatoly Brovko arrived in Kazan with two-day working visit. Guests have already seen a number of sport objects, visited Universiade village and IT-park.The meeting was dedicated to possible areas for cooperation between Tatarstan and Volgograd oblast. By words of Rustam Minnikhanov, two regions have contacts by some projects. Enterprises of Volgograd oblast are participating in realization of a large-scale project JSC “TANECO”.

Capacities of using information technologies in work of public authorities by the example of the project “E-government of the Republic of Tatarstan” were presented to members of delegation of Volgograd oblast in the course of visiting technopark in the sphere of high technologies “IT - park” in Kazan.We remind that delegation of Volgograd oblast headed by the governor Anatoly Brovko arrived in Kazan with two-day working visit. The guests visited a number of sport objects built in Kazan within the limits of preparatory actions for Universiade 2013 and IT-park that was presented by RT Deputy Minister of informatization and communications Dinar Nasyrov. In particular, he told about realization of the project “Electronic Tatarstan” that was started in 2005, presented capacities of “E-government of the Republic of Tatarstan” and the project “Electronic documents circulation” with use of electronic digital signature.
