New administrative building of RT ministry of forestry has been solemnly opened today in Novo-Savinovsky district of Kazan city. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Head of Forestry Department on Volga Federal District Andrey Karpilovich, RT Deputy Prime Minister – RT Minister of culture Zilya Valeeva, RT Minister of forestry Nail Magdeev and other officials took part in the opening ceremony.New 5-floor building with area 63,2 thousand m² - Palace of forest is located opposite to Victory Park in Novo-Savinovsky district in Kazan. RT President stressed that construction of this building is a tribute to all republican foresters.

Today we have to work out the program of housing construction for 2011. This was announced today by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov at republican meeting on issues of housing commissioning, for veterans of Great Patriotic War in particular. The meeting was traditionally held in House of RT Government in format of video conference with participation of all municipal regions.By the assignment of Rustam Minnikhanov, a commission will be created to consider within a week the following problem - why in some municipal regions areas for constructing houses within the limits of program 2011 and object owners are not defined yet.

The Federation of the Republic of Tatarstan Trade Unions has today held the 24th report and election conference in Kazan. Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and the Russian Federation of Independent Trade Unions chairman Mikhail Shmakov took part in it.The Tatarstan Federation of Trade Unions chairwoman Tatiana Vodopyanova delivered a keynote report, noting the federation was one of the largest trade union associations in Russia and near abroad, including about 900 thousand people. The movement’s younger section has been reinforced, which is pleasing, she said. This year, it has increased 25 percent due to new admissions, totalling 270 thousand, or 36 percent of the total union members.According to her, the concerted effort, aimed to promote civilised relations and group contract regulation, has allowed building an efficient system of protecting labour rights at all the levels of social partnership. Over the past 5 years, the average salary in the republic increased 2.4-fold, its purchasing capacity growing 1.3-fold. The living standard has improved 1.5 times.

Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is in Nizhniy Novgorod where he takes part in the session of the Volga Federal Region Council on the issues of reforming the housing and utilities system.Russian President’s plenipotentiary representative in the Volga Federal Region Grigory Rapota chairs the session. Saratov Governor Pavel Ipatov heads the working group on preparation of the key discussion.The following issues are on the agenda: the process of reforming the housing and utilities system in the Volga Federal Region subjects, discussion of modern information management systems in housing and utilities, and the government-private partnership in the system.Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is expected to make a report at the session.

Issues of further development of farming machines production on the basis of JSC “KAMAZ” have been discussed at the meeting between RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Head of delegations of CNH International SA and New Holland AG Eguipment, Chief Executive Franco Fusignani. The meeting was held in House of RT Government. We remind that a joint enterprise with participation of JSC “KAMAZ” and Case New Holland (subsidiary of auto concern Fiat) on producing farming machines and construction machinery was founded in October 2009. By words of Rustam Minnikhanov, the enterprise is working successfully today, its production is in-demand and competitive at Russian market. RT President positively estimated partnership of JSC “KAMAZ” and New Holland. Both parties meet commitments within the limits of joint project.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov has met with Chairman of Federation of independent trade unions of Russia Mikhail Shmakov in Kazan Kremlin.The meeting was also attended by RT Minister of labor, employment and social protection Airat Shafigullin, chairman of Tatarstan Federation of  trade unions Tatyana Vodopyanova, Head of department on issues of internal policy under RT President Office Aleksandr Terentyev. Mikhail Shmakov is in Kazan with two-day working visit. The following issues were discussed at the meeting: current situation at labor market in Russia and Tatarstan in particular, measures on decreasing the number of unemployed people, social position in republic.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov examined exposition of II international specialized exhibition “Nanotechnologies. Kazan-2010” and took part in XI international conference “Nanotechnologies in industry” that has opened today in Kazan. The conference is dedicated to problems of using nanotechnologies in -air and machine building, petrochemistry and medicine. At plenary session Rustam Minnikhanov noted that very interesting projects were presented at the exhibition “Nanotechnologies. Kazan-2010”, 4-5 of them may be realized today. Leadership of our country set the task on modernization of the economy, and this may be realized only with implementing innovations.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy Director general, member of Directorate of State corporation “Rosnano” Yakov Urinson discussed issues of developing nanoindustry in Tatarstan.
The meeting was attended by Director of department on interaction with federal ad regional authorities “Rosnano” Dmitry Krinitsky, RT Ministry of industry and trade Ravil Zaripov, RT Ministry of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov, Aide to RT President Anatoly Krasnov, Vice-President – CEO of JSC “Gasprombank” branch in Kazan Boris Pavlov, Director General of JSC “Innovative-production technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko and others.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov visited multi-functional centre of rendering state and municipal services, pre-school educational institution “Chishme”, Buinsk bakery plant and objects of social-cultural and household sphere. “We consider development of educational system and creation of necessary conditions for educating children as one of priority areas in Tatarstan. Within three years we have to solve the problem with kindergartens.”, - Rustam Minnikhanov said.RT President thinks that the problem with lack of kindergartens should be solved in a complex way. “Firstly, existing standards allow using private-state partnership. Secondly, there are some kindergartens in republic which were restructured and are now being misused. They are to be reconstructed”, - Rustam Minnikhanov noted.

World football championship 2018 may change the history of Russia radically. That is why members of FIFA committee gave preference to our country. Such opinion has been expressed today by Aide to RT President Iskander Muflikhanov at briefing in RT Cabinet.We remind that Tatarstan President within the Russian delegation supported Russian bid at the session of FIFA executive committee in Zurich last week. Members of the committee made a historical decision on holding the championship – 2018 in Russia. Kazan is one of the cities to host games of world championship. “World Univerisade 2013 will be held in Kazan, Winter Olympic games 2014 – in Sochi, and now Russia has won the right to host World football championship 2018”, - Iskander Muflikhanov said. These events will stimulate growth and development of infrastructure. Due to World Championship regional transport system among 14 cities hosting the games will become completely developed. Among these cities are St.Petersburg, Kaliningrad, Moscow, Podolsk, Kazan, Nizhny Novgorod, Yaroslavl, Saransk, Samara, Volgograd, Sochi, Krasnodar, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg.
