November 2, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the Third Nanotechnology International Forum RUSNANOTECH 2010 taking place in Moscow.The three-day program of the forum (November 1-3) includes a complex of business and scientific and technological sections, workshops, company presentations, poster session and exhibition.Tatarstan’s exposition covers 102 square metres and is divided into 5 thematic sections representing a concept of a nanotechnology centre in Kazan at Technopark Idea, a Tatneftekhiminvest-holding’s project in the sphere of nano- and biotechnologies as well as educational projects under the aegis of the Tatarstan Academy of Science and the Complex program of development of the nanoindustry in Tatarstan through 2015.

First results of governmental program “Belekech” have been summarized today in RT Cabinet.RT Minister of health care Airat Farrakhov informed that 292 mln. 506 thousand roubles are provided in RT budget for 2010 for realization of the bill. Three categories of children were chosen for getting complete free food. The first one is children up to 3 years old from families with average income lower than living wage fixed on the territory of RT (32 %). The second category relates to children (up to 2 years old) who, according to previous law drafting “On targeted support of population in RT”, were given milk products in 2009 (53%). The third category - children up to 3 years with chronic diseases (15 %).

Winners of final stages of Open republican television youth festival of variety art “Sozvezdie - Yoldyzlyk” performed gala concert “Tatarstan children sing and dance” in Moscow. The artists performed the best plays at the stage of Moscow Art Academic Theatre named after M.Gorky. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov welcomed participants of the concert. He reminded that creative association “Sozvezdie - Yoldyzlyk” has celebrated 10 years this year. Rustam Minnikhanov is sure that this event is really important and points to creative maturity of the festival. The movement has changed from regional project into the All-Russian phenomenon. Today we may proudly say that “Sozvezdie - Yoldyzlyk” is one of the most successful cultural “brands” of Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov thanked everyone who participated in organization of such spectacular festival, especially RF Ministry of culture and personally Aleksandr Avdeev, RF State Duma and Moscow Art Academic Theatre named after M.Gorky.

A joint enterprise on producing medicines with participation of Indian company «CSM PHARMA LLC» may be constructed in Tatarstan. On November, 1 RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov met with CEOs of «CSM PHARMA LLC». After the meeting, parties signed memorandum on mutual understanding. Welcoming guests, Ildar Khalikov noted that the meeting was well-organized. In particular, RT President Rustam Minnikhanov agreed for signing memorandum on cooperation that will facilitate further development of relations between Tatarstan and «CSM PHARMA LLC».

All watercrafts drowned in basins of Kuibyshev and Nizhnekamsk water-storage basins should be lifted and scrapped. This task was set today before appropriate Tatarstan departments by Volga interregional conservation prosecutor Vera Soldatova at a joint interdepartmental meeting “On additional measures on activating work on finding, lifting and utilization of sunken watercrafts on the territory of Tatarstan. The meeting was held in House of RT government with participation of RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov.

At the meeting with RT President Rustam Minnikhanov Chairman of Libyan National Oil Company Shukri Ganem told about the interest in developing relations with Tatarstan and oil-producing company “Tatneft”. The meeting was held in House of RT government. Welcoming the guests, Rustam Minnikhanov thanked Mr Shukri Ganem for supporting joint projects and interest towards Tatarstan. Rustam Minnikhanov reminded that oil-producing company “Tatneft” has been working in Libya since 2005. “Tatneft” is carrying out exploration works on 4 areas. About 200 mln. US dollars were allocated for realization of these projects. JSC “Tatneft” has become the first Russian company which entered Libyan oil market.

The Tatneftekhiminvest Holding board of directors and the RAS Chemistry Department have today held a joint meeting with the participation of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and RAS Vice-President Sergey Aldoshin.The meeting reviewed the current and prospective areas for cooperation between Tatarstan-based enterprises and Russian Academy of Sciences institutions.Rustam Minnikhanov said, opening the meeting, Tatarstan had been a large petrochemical region and the industry would continue to be the republic's main one. Since recovery is not going to grow, the available reserves need to be used more efficiently. One of the areas is development of petrochemistry, including the Taneco project, as well as producing new materials.

A joint session of boards of RF and RT Accounts Chambers has been held today in Kazan. Results of conducted control procedure “Revision of using subsidies of federal budget in 2009 and passed period of 2010 and other financial sources directed at organization and preparation of holding XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan”.Opening the session, Chairman of RF Accounts chamber Sergey Stepashin noted that development of mass sport is of primary importance for political leadership of the country. One of the most important spheres to realize this task that will stimulate social and economic development of many Russian regions is organization and holding of such big international sport forums as Winter Olympic Games in Sochi (2014) and Universiade 2013 in Kazan. Significant allocations of federal budget are provided then for these events. Thus, constant control for efficiency of realization of these projects is one of priority issues for RF Accounts chamber.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov held regular session of JSC “Tatneft” Directors board in Kazan. Results of company’s budget implementation for 9 months of 2010 have been discussed and the budget for November of current year has been approved at the session. Directors board heard information about the state of geological exploration and resource base of JSC “Tatneft”. Thus, as a result of conducting geological exploration works for the period since 1995 to 2010 years 79 oilfields have been opened in republic. 46 of them belong to JSC “Tatneft”.
