RT Cabinet Presidium considered Program of library services development in Republic of Tatarstan for period 2010-2014 and in perspective to 2020

About 153 million rbl. is needed to solve the problem of computerization of a library network of Republic Tatarstan and to provide access of libraries to the Internet in the shortest terms. RT Minister of culture Zilya Valeeva informed during the session of RT Cabinet Presidium. The session was devoted to considering the Program of library services development in the Republic Tatarstan for period 2010-2014 and in the long term up to 2020.

Deputy Director General of “Rosnanotekh” Andrey Svinarenko: “it is necessary to stimulate demand for nanoindustry output”
In November, the project of complex program of nanoindustry development in Tatarstan for 2009-2013 is planned to be submitted for consideration and approval by Tatarstan government. RT First Deputy Prime Minister Boris Pavlov informed at the joint session of Republican interdepartmental commission on interaction with federal state power bodies of Russian Federation on realization of projects and programs of Republic Tatarstan and Interdepartmental working group on financing nanoindustrial projects of Tatarstan.

Training of ministers from Tatarstan in Institute of state service named after Li Kuan Yu (Singapore) should result in increasing effectiveness of administration in state power bodies, adoption of new standards, initiating ideas in many sectors of health care, social policy and state housing construction.

Development strategies of republic’s higher educational institutions presented to Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov and Permanent Representative of World Bank in Russia Klaus Roland
The rectors of Tatarstan higher educational institutions presented strategies of further development of higher schools in Kazan city hall. Each strategy has been developed with participation of experts from the World Bank in development context of the whole educational system in the republic.

Results of placement of municipal order in 2008 discussed at session of the RT Cabinet presidium

Head of Tatarstan government Rustam Minnikhanov said at session of the RT Cabinet presidium that under crisis economic conditions people became more interested in state order. Thus, it is necessary to provide transparence of trading and equal terms to participate in them. The videoconference was held jointly with Presidium of Council of municipal units of Republic Tatarstan. Representatives of all municipal regions of Tatarstan took part in the session.

Vice Premier of Russian government Sergey Ivanov evaluated the structure of resident companies of technopark “Idea” and volumes of annual output for every employee
Director General of technopark “Idea” Sergey Yushko informed Sergey Ivanov that half of resident companies located on the territory of innovative production technopark “Idea” renders engineering services. Mr Yushko told in details about facilities rendered to companies by this business site. He stressed that there are no trade companies in technopark, mainly there are engineering, technological and consulting companies.

Vice Premier of Russian government and his attendants are in two-day working visit in the capital of Tatarstan. During the visit he plans to look over some innovative business sites, Kazan aircraft production association named after Gorbunov and other objects.Sergey Ivanov is accompanied by Tatarstan Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.

The largest plant for production of nonwoven fabrics opened in special economic zone “Alabuga”
On July, 15 the largest plant for production of nonwoven fabrics CJSC “Polymatiz” was launched in special economic zone “Alabuga”. Vice Premier of Russian government Dmitry Kozak, President of Tatarstan Mintimer Shaimiev took part in the solemn opening ceremony. “Today we celebrate a very important event both for Tatarstan and Russia”, - Dmitry Kozak said. He considers that it is the signal for Russian economy.

Tatarstan Minister of culture Zilya Valeeva: “Qualitative management is an important resource to overcome crisis”

Educational seminar for heads of ministries and departments specially developed for Tatarstan started in Singapore (June, 27 - July, 11). By and large 23 government officials took part in the seminar. Deputy Prime Minister of Republic Tatarstan – Minister of culture Zilya Valeeva, Minister of economy of Republic Tatarstan Marat Safiullin, Minister of labour, employment and social care of Republic Tatarstan Airat Shafigullin told about results of educational seminar at briefing in the RT Cabinet.
