On August 11, upon his arrival on a working visit to Tatarstan, the CEO of Rostec Corporation Sergey Chemezov was met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.

On August 9, Head of the Department for ensuring regional use and quality of fuel in the Republic of Tatarstan Robert Gilyaziev reported that 789 samples were taken at petrol stations to monitor the quality of fuel. Results have shown positive dynamics and defective petrol was found only at private petrol stations.
