On April 1, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Acting Prime Minister Aleksei Pesoshin, Chairman of Tatarstan State Council Farid Mukhametshin, Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, representatives of Russian State Duma and Russian Ministry of Energy, heads of regional energy saving centers took part in opening of XVI International specialized exhibition “Energy. Resource saving”, and XV international symposium Energy and resource efficiency and energy saving” at Kazanskaya Yarmarka exhibition center in Kazan.

On March 31, during his trip to UAE, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met an official delegate from UAE in WorldSkills International (WSI) Mubarak Al Shamsi.

On March 30, at the Annual Investment Meeting (AIM-2015) in Dubai, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said: “As a Russian region Tatarstan is presented in markets of Gulf countries not so well and we are working in this area. We take part in forums, search for potential partners. Our relations with UAE are very friendly, but we should work hard to start realizing joint big projects.”

On March 30, Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov accompanied by Chief executive of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina, Chairman of Tatarstan State Committee for Tourism Sergey Ivanov, and Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Rustam Kabirov arrived in UAE to take part in Annual Investment Meeting, AIM-2015.

Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov sent a telegram with greetings to sportsmen and chief coach of “Zenit-Kazan” volleyball club V.R.Alekno, President of Tatarstan volleyball federation F.Kh.Mukhametshin, and president of “Zenit-Kazan” volleyball club R.A.Kantyukov.

On March 27, at a session of the Supervisory council of Alabuga Special Economic Zone Acting Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that all residents of the economic zone will receive necessary support.
