On November 14, the international research-to-practice conference “Historic, Cultural and Spiritual Heritage of Sviyazhsk” opened in Kazan within the framework of the Year of Culture. Tatarstan State Counsellor and Chairman of the Trustee Council of the Revival Regional Foundation Mintimer Shaimiev, Minister of Culture of the republic Airat Sibagatullin, Rector of Kazan Federal University Ilshat Gafurov and other officials attended the conference.

On November 14, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a working meeting with Board Chairman of Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant Alexander Fedorov. The meeting was also attended by Tatarstan Deputy Prime Minister - Minster of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov, Aide to Tatarstan President on Economic Affiars Airat Khairullin, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the republic Andrei Pominov, Deputy Director General of JSC “Chelyabinsk Pipe-Rolling Plant” (“ChelPipe”) Maksim Ignatiev, Executive Director of JSC “AlNAS” Sergey Sachenko.

On November 14, at his meeting with a delegation of Johnson&Johnson Company, Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov said that Tatarstan has a positive experience of long-term cooperation with Johnson & Johnson Company in the medical field and hopes to develop it. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Health of Tatarstan Adel Vafin, Minister of Economy of the republic Artem Zdunov, Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina.

On November 13, in Moscow at the International News Agency “Russia Today”, speaking at a press-conference themed “Capital repair of multi-apartment houses”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the programme of capital repair of multi-apartment houses was one of the most effective programmes initiated by the Russian leadership. The conference was also attended by Deputy Minister of Construction and Housing and Utilities of Russia Andrei Chibis, Chairman of the housing policy and housing and utilities services committee of the Russian State Duma Galina Khovanskaya, Tatarstan Minister of Construction, Architecture and Housing Irek Faizullin.

On November 13, President of Republic of Peru Ollanta Humala, whose airplane landed at the Kazan International Airport, was met by Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, First Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the republic Ruslan Kabirov, Representative of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Kazan Radik Vakhitov and other officials.

On November 10, at the Piramida Entertainment Complex in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a solemn event dedicated to the Day of Internal Affairs Agencies' Employees. Speaking at the event, Rustam Minnikhanov appreciated the performance of the police of the republic, noting their contribution to the daily work on preventing and solving crimes.
