On December 30 First Tatarstan President, State Counsellor Mintimer Shaimiev and Head of Spassky municipal district Kamil Nurgaev took part in a solemn Olympic Torch Relay ceremony in Kazan.
On December 30 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov held a board session of “Grid company” at Tatarstan Cabinet of Ministers.
Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov is on annual leave on December 30 – January 8, 2014. In accordance with the article 98 of the Constitution of the Republic of Tatarstan, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov will fulfill his duties during this period.

Results of regional contest “IT champion” were summarized at Kazan IT park on December 28. Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov presented awards to the winners.
