President of Russia Vladimir Putin arrived in Kazan with a working visit. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov, Plenipotentiary of Russian President in Volga Federal District Mikhail Babich, Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin met head of the state at the international airport “Kazan”.

Members of the Council for the Development of Physical Culture and Sport under President of Russia arrived in Kazan to participate in a field session. President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met quests at Kazan international airport.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov met with executives of a French company Telmondis. The meeting took place at Tatarstan Government House with participation of Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin, Head of Republican Press and Mass Media Agency “Tatmedia” Irek Minnakhmetov. Telmondis was presented by President Antoine Perset, Technical Director Pierre Collet, and Managing Director Denis Morliere.

President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov visited Saudi Arabia and participated in opening of Jeddah international economic forum. Jeddah international economic forum is held for the 13th time. About three thousand delegates take part in the event. This year main subject of discussion is provision of expanding population with housing and necessary infrastructure.

At a meeting with Secretary General of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov said: “The Republic of Tatarstan is intensively cooperating with a number of OIC branches and is willing to develop mutually beneficial relations.” The meeting took place in Jeddah during the visit of Tatarstan delegation to Saudi Arabia.
