RT Prime Minister R.N.Minnikhanov held meeting with president of “Rockwool” Elko Van Hill.
A solemn ceremony of laying the foundation stone in construction of a new plant in the territory of a special economic zone “Alabuga” was held on June 4, 2008. Construction works and the first output (heat-insulating materials) will have finished by 2010. It is meant that Rockwool plant in “Alabuga” will be equipped with highly productive lines.

The representatives from 31 countries are going to take part in international auto rally “Silk Road 2009 – Dakar series” to get started from Kazan in September.
The future event was discussed at a meeting of organizing committee held by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov. He informed that competitions of such status will be held in Kazan for the first time. In fact, the idea belongs to President of Turkmenistan and is supported by Russian President. It is meant that rally will become the largest off-road race in European and Asian part of the world (as far as the next race Dakar is planned to be held in Southern America).

RT Minister of health care Airat Farrakhov informed at a meeting in the RT Cabinet that by the decision of Russian government Tatarstan had been included into federal program on improvement of organization of medical aid for the injured in road accidents.
RT Minister of health care have done enormous work on preparing the project of medical aid for the injured in road accidents on M-7 highway.

RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting with specialists from the World Bank. RT minister of economy Marat Safiullin, state counselor under RT President on social issues Tatyana Larionova, chairman of state council committee on budget, taxes and finances Murad Gadylshin, the World Bank social policy sector chief in the region “Europe-Central Asia” Katty Lindert, analyst of social programs department of World Bank Ivan Shulga took part in the event.

A joint session of Republican interdepartmental commission on interaction with federal state power bodies of Russian Federation on implementation of Tatarstan projects and programs and Coordination Council on implementation of Agreement on cooperation in the sphere of nanotechnologies and nanoindustry development between State corporation "Russian corporation of nanotechnologies" and Tatarstan on use of nanotechnologies in petrochemistry has been held in Kazan chaired by RT Prime Minister Rustam Minnikhanov.

Questions of interaction between local commodity producers with the trading network companies located in a territory of the Republic Tatarstan dure to be weekly discussed. Such a decision has been accepted in the RT Cabinet on results of the meeting chaired by RT First Vice Premier Ravil Muratov.
