On August 26 Tatarstan Minister of Industry and Trade Ravil Zaripov and Deputy Chairman of Volgograd Government Vladimir Galushkin signed plan of actions on cooperation in different economic and industrial sectors between Tatarstan and Volgograd region. The event was held at the Government building of Volgograd region in presence of Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Governor of the region Sergei Bozhenov.

On August 25 Tatarstan Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, Tatneft Director General Shafagat Takhautdinov, former Aide to Russian Minister of Defence, Colonel General, honourable citizen of Bugulma Vyacheslav Meleshko, members of Russian State Duma, State Council and other officials took part in 232-year anniversary of Bugulma town.

On August 24 at their meeting at Tatarstan Government House Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Russian Minister of Transport Maksim Sokolov summarized results of transport service organization during the 27th World Summer Universiade and discussed a number of prospective projects of transport complex development in Tatarstan.

On August 24 at a weekly regional meeting chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Minister of Construction, Architecture and Municipal Economy Irek Faizullin reported that since the beginning of 2013, 1 mln 421.9 thousand square meters of housing (60% of the year plan) were commissioned in Tatarstan, which makes 102.5 percent compared to the last year.

On August 24 Tatarstan President presented awards “For Merits for the Repblic of Tatarstan” to Chief Executive of Tatarstan President’s Office Asgat Safarov, Tatarstan Minister of the Interior Artem Khokhorin and Head of Federal Security Service Office in Tatarstan Alexandr Antonov for their considerable contribution to providing public security during preparation and holding of the 27th World Summer Universiade.
