On August 23 Board Chairman of OAO “Gazprom” Alexey Miller arrived with a working trip in Kazan. He was met by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of OOO “Gazprom transgaz Kazan” Rafkat Kantyukov and other officials at the Kazan International Airport.
On August 23 Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Deputy Secretary of Russian Security Council, General of the Army Rashid Nurgaliev at Tatarstan Government House.

On August 21 Tatarstan Prime-Minister Ildar Khalikov met with participants of the round-the-world bike marathon at Tatartsan Government House.
Tatarstan Minister of youth affairs, sports and tourism Rafis Burganov took part in the meeting.
To the point, the round-the-world bike marathon was timed to two remarkable events – Summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan and 100 anniversary of two-year round-the-world bicycle trip by Kazan citizen Onisim Pankratov.
