A joint session of boards of RF and RT Accounts Chambers has been held today in Kazan. Results of conducted control procedure “Revision of using subsidies of federal budget in 2009 and passed period of 2010 and other financial sources directed at organization and preparation of holding XXVII World summer Universiade 2013 in Kazan”.Opening the session, Chairman of RF Accounts chamber Sergey Stepashin noted that development of mass sport is of primary importance for political leadership of the country. One of the most important spheres to realize this task that will stimulate social and economic development of many Russian regions is organization and holding of such big international sport forums as Winter Olympic Games in Sochi (2014) and Universiade 2013 in Kazan. Significant allocations of federal budget are provided then for these events. Thus, constant control for efficiency of realization of these projects is one of priority issues for RF Accounts chamber.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov held regular session of JSC “Tatneft” Directors board in Kazan. Results of company’s budget implementation for 9 months of 2010 have been discussed and the budget for November of current year has been approved at the session. Directors board heard information about the state of geological exploration and resource base of JSC “Tatneft”. Thus, as a result of conducting geological exploration works for the period since 1995 to 2010 years 79 oilfields have been opened in republic. 46 of them belong to JSC “Tatneft”.

Session of Council of trustees of RT Investment-venture fund chaired by RT Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov was held in RT Cabinet. Measures on supporting small and medium entrepreneurship were discussed at the session. Much emphasis was put on creation of mechanisms and conditions for work of innovative companies. After session Director of RT Investment-venture fund Ainur Aideldinov told about measures on supporting small and medium business. By his words, one way is compensation of interest rates. Head of IVF noted that program of compensation of interest rates has been realized in republic for 2 years. Because of financial crisis innovative activity of entrepreneurs has decreased.

RT President Rustam Minnikhanov met with Head of Forestry department on Volga Federal District Andrey Karpilovich in Kazan Kremlin. RT Minister of forestry Nail Magdeev took part in the meeting.Debates were devoted to development of forestry in Tatarstan, construction of forest selection seed-growing centre in Sabinsky municipal region. By words of Nail Magdeev, Head of Forestry department on Volga Federal District Andrey Karpilovich told Rustam Minnikhanov about results of planned revision of activity of RT Ministry of forestry as regards use, protection and reproduction of forests. The revision has been conducted in October, 14-28. Specialists of RF Forestry department visited forestry areas, nurseries, worked with documents, examined plans of land and air patrolling of RT forestry.

Course of constructing sport objects within the frameworks of preparation and holding of Universiade-2013 in Kazan has been discussed today by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Chairman of RF Accounts Chamber Sergei Stepashin.The meeting was held in Kazan Kremlin.

Chairman of RF Accounts Chamber Sergey Stepashin has arrived in Tatarstan with two-day working visit. Sergey Stepashin was received by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov, Chairman of RT Accounts Chamber Aleksey Demidov, RT Minister of interiors Asgat Safarov, Head of Federal security service department on RT Evgeny Vdovin in international airport “Kazan”. On arriving, Head of RF Accounts Chamber accompanied by RT President saw a number of objects built on the threshold of Universiade 2013 and visited Universiade village. Sergey Stepashin assessed construction of buildings in Universiade village, surveyed the interior of rooms where students of Tatarstan universities live.

Today Head of Tatarstan government Ildar Khalikov met with officials of American company «OtterBox» in RT Cabinet. The company specializes in production of protective covers and cases for mobile telephones and other portable units of leading world producers. USA delegation consisted of Director General of «OtterBox» company Kurt Richardson, President of the company Brian Tomas, COO Mathew Klark, Deputy Dean of State university of Colorado John Hawks Maier. The parties discussed perspectives of cooperation. «OtterBox» company is interested in Russian market and Tatarstan market in particular.

Today Kazan City Duma has elected Mayor of the city – Ilsur Metshin, proposed by the parties “United Russia”, LDPR and “Just Russia”. RT President Rustam Minnikhanov and Deputy chairman of RT State Council Aleksandr Gusev took part in the session. Ilsur Metshin had 85 % of votes in the district. Political Council of Tatarstan regional division of the party “United Russia” proposed candidature of Ilsur Metshin to the post of Head of municipal formation of Kazan city, Mayor of Kazan city to Presidium of general council of the party. Procedure of approving candidatures to the post of mayors is normally conducted only for million-cities.Tatarstan regional division of KPRF proposed candidature of Ilgizyar Valeev to the post of Mayor.Presenting Ilsur Metshin, Rustam Minnikhanov said that leadership of republic supported his candidature.

Today President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev visited scientific-technical centre of “KAMAZ” within the frameworks of working trip to Tatarstan. He was accompanied by RT President Rustam Minnikhanov. The whole range of innovations and perspective projects of Kama auto giant was presented at the exposition. For 9 months of 2010 “KAMAZ” produced 22, 5 thousand trucks. Dmitry Medvedev handed state awards to members of legendary team “KAMAZ-Master”, winners of international rally “Dakar-2010”.
